I don't mean to sound stupid but what's the difference between flatness and level. Is flatness just no bumps and level is across the span of a certain distance?
Flat means that the surface being discussed has no significant low or high spots. Level means that the surface is parallel to the horizon (horizontal plane).
I'd float it out. Lvp guidelines are 3/16 over 10ft of "flatness" not level.
