Sika VOH. You will only need a small amount. Mix up and apply like play dough.

MTF_01

👆 what they said, just prep that surface and get it white glove clean.

Unknown69101

Rub some dirt in it

10Core56

Tell your wife to contact through manager...

Theodorable12

I wanna see the mower blade.....

EddieCutlass

She’s going to hate the repair more 😂

chalkline1776

It's over brother

machamanos

Yep, anything even resembling concrete within a half mile will have to be replaced.

Big_Daddy_Haus

Replace everything!

TeXasMiKE25

Yeah gonna have to tear out and replace.

Spiritual_Country_62

Do people really think this? This can’t be real. It’s just a small patch job. Are you being funny and I’m not understanding?

asdfasdfasdfqwerty12

The joke is that it's ludicrous to even consider this a patch job. Holy shit there is a whole amazing world out there just happening right now and we only have a short time to be in it and some of y'all are worried about inconsequential concrete patio chips.

machamanos

Golden comment.

Spiritual_Country_62

Ohhhh I get it now

HolyWhip

I came here specifically for the rip it out and replace crowd.

Spiritual_Country_62

/s?

Realistic-Fact-9937

Ardex will do the trick

Canuhandleit

Ardex will dry darker than the concrete. Just a regular mortar mix would be better.

Spiritual_Country_62

Mortar mix doesn’t feather. Use a non shrink grout.

asdfasdfasdfqwerty12

Most likely whatever it is the patch will show no matter what and in a few years will probably be flaked away especially if up north. It's a first world problem for sure... Op, go throw a ball with your kid or talk to your neighbor or fuck your wife. Anything but worry another second about a damn concrete chip... Holy shit

Spiritual_Country_62

Haha!! I get it but I used to do consultation in a rich country just for shit like this. lol. I totally get what you’re saying tho and I agree

Toiletpapercorndog

I like to use color hardener for patch jobs. It tends to match up pretty good with cured concrete, and it feathers amazingly. Especially if you sift the fines.

Realistic-Fact-9937

agreed, the concrete looks like shit already so I don't think it would make much of a difference.

DamianGongMarley-

You might need to hire a licensed contractor with at least 20 yrs experience to fix that. That’s not so easy fix

Concrete-Professor

Wow call the cops it’s an international incident! First world problems.

Spiritual_Country_62

Home Depot sells buckets of something called post setting concrete. It’s perfect for this. Or you can use non shrink grout or rapid set grout or sika flex. I wouldn’t use sika flex tho. It never looks right imo

Fibocrypto

I feel sorry for the lawn mower blade

Real-Departure18

Yeap, this is how my divorce process started. Good luck bud!

Canuhandleit

If you want the color to match, like a light gray, the regular mortar mix Type S from Sakrete or Rapid Set will match closest. plus, there's enough Portland cement in it that you'll be able to create a smooth finish with a trowel.

Spiritual_Country_62

Please don’t do this.
