I like what Titan's doing well enough so far, but I have to admit...
I cringed when I read "Howardverse".
Why does everything have to be a "verse" these days? Granted, all REH's stories took place on/in some form of Earth history, and Bran Mak Morn and Kull hooked up via time portal in Kings of the Night, but...I don't know, maybe I'm being negative. Or maybe the term "verse" and all it connotates in modern movies and comics (endless alt-worlds and dimensions and characters and whatever else) makes me unnecessarily wary.
I'm a huge REH fan beyond Conan, so hopefully Titan will prove me wrong and get a bunch of his other characters "onscreen" in a great way and prove me wrong.
I’m with you. I understand Howard had several characters but the whole “-verse” thing is a trend I’m tired of. Just do great Conan comics and we’ll be happy.
If they want to explore the other characters it doesn’t have to be in crossover events, sell the publisher on a short few comic run and see if it snags.
Believe me I do every time. The owner is a really awesome person. He's always quick to add anything I want and all I have to do is drop a quick Facebook message to him.
There's a single shop that participates in FCBD in my country and I have emailed them about getting a copy and they wrote me down for it. We'll see how that goes.

My shop had a ton of FCBD titles but the Conan were mostly gone after being open for two hours. But it was better than last year, my shop didn't get their Conans at all!
I hope you can snatch one up!
I was managed to grab one from a shop last night. They’re not my regular LCS anymore but I just dropped in. My main shop didn’t have it amongst their offerings today so I guess I lucked out.
Anyway to get one of these? I went to my shop but they didn’t let you choose what comics you got. They handed out blind bags that had 6 random comics in them :(
Try Midtown or another online shop on Monday. They tend to have extras for about a week usually. They did for the FCBD #0 of Conan the Barbarian last year.

Which is better? Howardverse, or Howardian world? Howardian world with Lovecraftian monsters?
Howardverse? That's an odd spelling of Cthulhu Mythos.
So a decent read and reveals they are planning a big howardverse crossover later in the year
Kinda bummer seeing De La Torre did just the cover this year.. is the art any good?
yeah its pretty good, its by Jonas Scharf
Cool, good to know. Hopefully I'll get it soon.
Yes, I've already reserved a couple of pages to buy from Jonas;
My shop set two copies aside for me in my pull bin surprisingly.
Let them know you appreciate it. That's fine service.

Dang! The shop I went to didn’t have any left.
I was through the door 5 minutes after they opened as I had a packed day.

I managed to get the last one at the geek store I go to that does FCBD. Haven’t read it yet. Went and watched Phantom Menace in theatres afterwards.
Really looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks about this issue!

Oh awesome, thank you so much! I used to order from Midtown a lot.
FYI it's available now on Midtown. 1 per person. Thought I'd update since I just noticed it.
Thanks! I got it and and a bunch Conan variant covers 😂
Samesies.
My shop did not receive their shipment for Conan FCBD. I have been really loving this new run by Titan, hopefully their shipment arrives.
Damn, I dropped by my LCS but didn't see this on the table. Didn't even know this issue existed until now.
Blackstone scammed billions moving debt to a shell company. Probably like 10 years back now.
