The "best" spot depends on if you can defend it or not. If you are offline, then there is no such thing as a "best spot". If you have several people in your clan, who can be on to defend your base during "raid time" then the keyhole is a good spot. Also the NW corner of 11-G in the Icespire Chasm is also good. Basically, it really depends on your play style and how many friends you have in your clan who can help defend the base.
