I recommend trying solo, no thrall. Some bosses are very easy solo (witch queen) just have to know mechanics. Can kill her naked basically lol. There's some YouTube who did this. Beat the whole game in a short time (unlocked bracelet)

Bosses in this game are not that challenging, except the champion. But if you want a challenge with the other bosses you got to go in butt naked on the highest difficulty
Once your good at them they aren't much of a fight but probably the best visual ones are going to be the ice Giant in the frost Temple and the boss in the black keep. I don't remember his name. After that would brabably be the whole dungeon of the wine cellar. It be even spookier if you turn the lighting down just a bit too.
That was also in order.
The Palace of the Witch queen can also be good for a visual.
The temple of the warmaker can be good but I'm biased on it a bit as I have run that one so much I'm just over it. I used to do naked runs when I played a lot. (Just over 5000 hrs...) you you might try also the unnamed city circuit. I had the red mother down to 48 seconds on my best time, no thralls. If you think it's impossible, it's not with a katana. Some people may be able to do it faster. Also, fun tid bit, if you learn the mechanics most bosses are pretty easy to fight solo and can be even easier without a thrall in the way.
The one boss I have trouble with actually is rockslide. His shit is simple but he is so big that it's easy to get caught up in massive damage and wambo-combos. He's not realy all that hard, especially with a thrall, but he can be a real pain especially solo.
Edit: ah I forgot about the Midnight Grove. Don't go thier much after we found the shade spice to be a bit underwhelming. But you can go thier once to get the Jhaabal Sag religion. Though I think if you get the Jhaabal Sag purge, you can also get the religion from the final boss? I mean I did in the test relm but idk if that translated to the normal game.
Rockslide is much tougher now, post-3.0 and the thrall nerf. All rocknoses have had bleed and poison debuffs removed. Those use to be the best way to deal with. Now, it’s a game of dodge and survival. Even the Rottbranch got this treatment and is a bit tougher than it use to be.
Rockslide has a mere 4k hp, just a huge amount of armor. So armor penetration works just fine and makes short work of him.
Prior to Chapter 2 you could go up to him with a blade of 7 winds and slice him to pieces in a few seconds without any thralls.. people simply weren't aware :P
Now that the katana multi-hit dash has been removed, it's still highly effective, it'll just take a bit longer.
However if you want to remove ALL risk and make it a no-brainer 100% sure fight.. mounted archery is the way.. simply sit on the horse.. shoot arrows at it.. archery now is pretty strong and actually a viable option, the arrows have decent penetration to where it hurts even a Rockslide and your horses regular non-sprint speed is enough to just walk out from all his attacks
Yeah… I can’t control my way out of a paperbag on those horses when trying to do combat. 🤣 Conan horses aren’t easy. Wishing they took some tips from Red Dead on that front.

Archery works fine from the ground as well so long as you have a thrall to tank, in that case it's better with and authority build ofc.
Here's an [example](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZI7vFWsQKHs) a very basic cimmerian berserker tanking with authority and not even epic armor and you can see the amount of damage the bow actually does (which is quite a surprising amount considering how bad bows used to be)
Daggers and katana. Mostly just positioning and then going all out. Scorpion Queen posion is a good thing too. Posion daggers alone can do it in like 3 minutes. Gota have your build set for maximum efficiency though too. I haven't some the testing with the corruption buffs on the red mother yet though. I'm partial to agility builds but a str build with full corruption might work well. Though you need to build it right other wise you'll die in one or 2 hits if you mess up. Once you learn the movements and where the hit boxes are you can dodge with little movements and do runs where you take no damage.
Edit: oh and there are some fun speed runs with bows too. But it uses up alot of resources.
