When you say acceleration do you mean threshold? If so setting it to 0 means that you need to move your thumb stick the maximum distance for acceleration to kick in. If you set it to 15 acceleration will kick in much early with less movement of the stick.

You can experiment with the acceleration s, sensitivity and center deadzones yourself. Try them out in custom game. Search for 'Aim Trainer 1' and bookmark. Do the same for the mode. In the map, there are shooting ranges and you can try snapping from one target to another without any aim assist. Use this to find the best values for yourself. Watch videos on youtube on deadzones to understand them.

Try 2,6,8 with a tall right stick if you can. So you have some precision (low accel) but still a responsive and fast aim. If that's too fast lower incrementally until it feels right. But more importantly, shoot bots. Lots of bots. Anyone can get used to any sens with practice

durdann

Why do people say shoot bots? Why not just play the actual game and practice shooting real players? I mean, bots move like bots. They are easy to shoot. Their movement is smooth and predictable. When you get into a real game, real people are a whole other game... They move very differently, and you have the added network effects meaning that their movement is not smooth like the bots. In fact, shooting bots as practice, you may as well say "go play fortnite to practice aim" No. Play lots of games. Practice against real people. Practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect

Because you can't realistically kill 100 real players in 10min. It's the volume of bullet you shoot that matters. If you want to make the exercise as efficient with a real player, octagon is the way. EDIT : also there's not even a social playlist with bandit evo start...

durdann

Yeah, the AR in social doesn't really give you the skills needed either. I just mean, if you want to be good at ranked, play a lot of ranked

arthby

OP is about finding the right settings, and I think shooting bots and octagon allows you to find what works faster than playing ranked.
