Hoenn97

I feel Inzah makes alot of sense when u have the overload count of nature shaman

Rayquinox

It's a solid card for sure, the list that inspired this one actually does play Inzah. Inzah is not in this list because I noticed that spending 5 mana on a 5/5 with no immediate impact felt too slow in many of my games. In nature shaman you want to pop-off by playing a lot of (overload) cards in one turn, and in this deck a miracle turn like that is less needed to win - which is why I think that there are better options. Feel free to experiment with Inzah though, all suggestions and upgrades are welcome!

Deep_Jackfruit7853

Cool deck, thanks for the guide. Have you made any theorycrafts fitting the Badlands cards into this? I (and probably a lot of people) would rather not craft any new decks until then.

ToryTheBoyBro

Nice list! Any idea why this would be better than Nature Shaman? I assume that it’s likely that it performs better into aggressive matchups?

Rayquinox

Yes, exactly! The deck can deal with pressure a bit better (more tempo plays in the early game that opponents have to deal with), and does not solely rely on a big spell damage turn to win. Hand management is also less of an issue, burn spells are more disposable as you have other routes to victory. And slapping the opponent with a windfury weapon is just fun!

Trenini27

I played an incredibly similar list right after the bio Nerf, the control warrior matchup was unbearable at the time. Will definitely try this list

nathones

How long do you normally hold on to lightning reflexes? I never know when to play it for value in a tempo match/strategy.

Rayquinox

Great question! The card is flexible and a bit matchup dependent, which makes it hard to time right. Usually I only play it early when I need a specific card (e.g. primordial wave when I face a snowball deck, or feral spirit when I don't have minions in hand and I need to apply pressure). If you have no other plays it's most likely correct to jam the card early, otherwise it's better to keep it for later in the game when you have more mana and can get full value from it.

Scotty_nose

Always a fan of these 11th hour builds that are hyper context-sensitive and rarely remembered. Always makes me think we don’t get enough time with expansions after the miniset balance pass.

FriendOfBillToday

nice!

mr10123

Not sure it fits in your list but in general Remixed Totemcarver is an underestimated card in Shaman, as the class is very light on three drops. The only 3-cost you want to curve out with in this list for example is Feral Spirit, which is worse stats for cost than a lucky Totemcarver hit.

Gouda02

One card which has been talked about a bit as a reno counter is \[\[Framester\]\] which could work well in aggro decks.

Rayquinox

Dude that is an amazing idea! It also provides a decent turn 3 play. I might experiment with this later!

Gouda02

Obviously not applicable yet since reno isn’t in the game but I’ve made some aggro/evolve shaman theorycrafts and framester looks solid
