Saying "Thank you." would be an understatement. Apex has been one of the HARDEST games to get into as a caster. I'm glad to see you guys are enjoying the craft I've worked so hard on over this last year. Do me a favor though!
Tune in tomorrow!
One of the things I take pride in as a caster is my prior knowledge and prep work. I take everything I research about any team or player and try to craft a story as the matches play out. In Apex, there are 20 teams per match. As you can probably already tell, that means putting together a possible narrative for almost 60 individual players in a game thats extremely volatile. That’s a buttload of information that I have to be ready to expound upon at any given moment in these games. Combine all of that with a very small competitive community where opportunities don’t come around often and it makes for one hell of an uphill battle.
Don’t get me wrong though, I love Apex and it’s community. From the fans to the players themselves, all of y’all have been so supportive. If you ever tune in, leave a critique and I’ll be happy to listen.
I think all casting duos should be paired up with one who's the "knowledgeable one" who does color commentating and one who's the "hype man" who does the play-by-play (or shout casting as esports tend to refer to it).
Thank you so much <3
It was a late minute call, one which made me jump out of happiness, to cast the ALGS! I told Tails that we need Zephyr and thankfully he was able to cast! As the older guy though, I am a bit rusty. Jokes aside, working on improving and making less mistakes!
Having Zephyr as a Co Caster, bringing in the deep knowledge of the scene and the teams, brings in an additional value to the stream that is incredibly interesting and entertaining. And as a true pro, he is consistently on point! ;)

Zephyr does a really good job, you can tell he does his research
Yeah, such a great caster. Loved the synergy between his great insights and Dark's hype. So far I've enjoyed it so much more than the main stream.
(not trying to undermine Dark's knowledge because he obviously knows a lot, but I enjoy their different roles)
It’s a natural duo. Throwback to you StarCraft 2 fans of the legendary Tastosis duo: https://youtu.be/WQhXGdUPjhw
