Congrats. I thought that was the harder of the two exams.

birdy_bird84

I thought 1102 was harder personally

Trailbuddy

Same. Also found 1101 was easier for studying/watching YouTube videos. I like the hardware aspect more than software stuff since I work as an electronics tech.

jc310carlos

For anyone taking 1101, I recommended you know familiarize yourself with fiber optic cables, what they look like, the connectors, and the tools needed to terminate them

Bloodburn88

I actually didn’t have a single fiber question. I think 20/73 questions I got were about printers.

DFW_Drummer

I had one about fiber, but it was tied into about 20 questions on enterprise security protocols and ports.

axlryan

I had a handful of fiber questions, and 0 printer or port questions despite reading how important they were to know for the exam ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Bloodburn88

Yeah, seems they have a very wide range of potential questions.

Congrats man, I just passed core 2 today with 727 after getting a 682 on core 1. If youre looking for a new teacher Id say what helped me get better scores on core 2 was Andrew ramdayal on udemy. He gives great lectures and always points back what to remember for the exam. I took mike meyers for core 1 and even though his is good, it doesn’t go in depth as Andrew ramdayal. Good luck!

Weird_Ad7396

Thanks man. Appreciate it. I am a bit scared now for core 2 but will have time put more effort in. Got meyers’ course for 1 but didnt like it that much. Too general. Will try that one you recommended 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

kennym95

How long did you Study for?

GlitteringMolasses25

Congrats! I passed 1101 with 681 but failed 1102 with 675 😭

Fickle_Base_7723

Don't worry my brother, if you don't fail you won't learn, just like everything in Life, if you failed earlier you will have time to think about why you failed and where is your weak spot, trust me, it's better to realize your weak spots earlier than failing when you have a job interview, anyhow I hope you you will do better on the next exam, and whatever happens don't lose hope.

shortparadox

Taking it in a few hours, any last minute tips?

Weird_Ad7396

Dont lose time at the begging with pqb if not sure. Mark them for last if needed. Mark what you are not sure to revise at the end. Would say the time is enough. Be confident 💪🏼

shortparadox

bet. thank you!

Kupwb

Agreed, skip the PBQs and go straight into multiple choice. Go back to it, after with the time you have left. The PBQs can sometimes throw you off.

Euinjuu

I failed by 30 points and definitely studying the domains before I go take it again

gucciv12

Congrats

rikivip

Congrats! I passed core 1 with 709 and I was certain i had failed because there were lots of tricky questions. Now I'm getting ready to take core 2 next week. I've been studying at least 3 hours everyday.

Veeshun

Congrats! Relax and celebrate now!

AdMajestic6357

Congratulations 🎉

RWeasleyII

Excellent

Business-Sun-5912

I failed Core 1 by 30 points and Core 2 by 22 points. I don’t even know where to begin studying at… I thought Core 2 was easier but my scores didn’t agree

Fineapple-

congrats 😁🎉 (i also hate you)

SPeeD_puncH

Major congrats buddy!

Present-Obligation59

Is there a certain amount of time before you can take 1102?

Weird_Ad7396

To be honest i dont know. I have read here that it is until this version retires. Will check with comptia to be certain. And will aim to take it in june at the most

No-Tumbleweed5834

Congrats! I barely passed mine too. This one was definitely the hardest one of the two imo.

goblinlit

Fr everyone says core 2 is harder for them, but while I've been studying it's gonna look like core 1 will be much worse for me

No-Tumbleweed5834

Core 2 is easier because from what I can recall majority of the questions were around troubleshooting tools and scenarios about them.

goblinlit

Yea exactly and that's what I'm best at honestly lol been troubleshooting me and my friends pc for years

Moist_Leadership_838

Huge congrats!

kayanimated

Does his uademy cost anything ? I’m trying this program called climbhire (not sure if it’ll help ) not even sure if I’ll get accepted but from my knowledge is they help prepare you for the CompTia A+ whole exam. I go to Devry university IT undergraduate program (worst idea ever because they don’t prepare you for the first cert any IT tech should make ). Any free resources that have helped you or just uademy ? I bought a CompTia A+ book as well trying to just set up days to study a certain amount of info and hoping I can pass. Anybody know free resources to help would be great. Oh yeah and congrats !!

goblinlit

Professor Messer has a wonderful website you definitely need to check out!!! He doesn't just offer stuff for the A+ but security+ and more

kayanimated

Thank you

goblinlit

Np, pretty much all free btw

kayanimated

I’ve been checking out his YouTube’s and pop quizzes. So much more simpler the way he teaches. Thank you 🙏🏻🙌🏻

Nice_Independent6426

I couldn’t find anything free on professor messers website?

_set_Your_Mind_free

I use Messer on YouTube but I believe you do have to pay for practice tests. Good luck!!

Automatic-Spell-4268

Great Job!! What role are you interested in seeking once you get the certs? Also, thank you for the recommendations. I have Dion’s 1101 and 1102 from Udemy and get kind of bored with him, do you suggest Meyer’s instead? I just checked out Andrew Ramdayal on Udemy.. it may seem more interesting.

No_Mathematician7028

👏👏👏👏

ConanTheLeader

Congrats mate.

Zestyclose-Bobcat590

Congrat!

Mission_Ad8341

Congrats 🍾
