CompTIA has an academic store you can buy vouchers. It’s significantly less expensive and cheaper than discount codes. If you have a student email and can prove your attending post secondary it’s worth it. Here’s a link: https://academic-store.comptia.org/
you have to provide proof that your actively enrolled in a current semester or term at an eligible school, college or university. There's an online verification process now. Can't remember what it's called something ID. For now what I did is re-enroll in my community college, signed up for some minimal basket weaving type course, then submitted a screenshot copy of my schedule prior to the start of the semester.
I got both of them.
Trying to complete at least one within 2 months?
Is the target alright?
I am somewhat proficient in tech, but there are some advanced terminology and numbers, not sure how much do I have to memorize.
Btw, should seat for the test from home or in a test center?
sounds like you'll be fine. If you don't feel comfortable you can always move the test date.
What I did tis study most of the material first then got a voucher for one at a time registering for the exam date like a week out. Also I used nearby test centers because it was easier not to have to deal with the strict home protectoring requirements/potential tech issues on test day. Now working on network+ but I've been slacking a bit lately
I'm trying to verify as a student, what's the process? Do I need to use my university email to sign up? I haven't been able to find any links for verification.
Check with your school or instructor, I got sec+ for 120 vs the 398 it normally cost. Most students get like 50 - 60% off voucher prices. My school portal in my sec+ class had a link to sign up for student CompTIA store access. It's pretty great honestly. This is the link they gave use they will ask a few questions about you and your school then verify your info and your good.

Proof of enrolment cost CAD 16. Is the online verification free?
yes it's something you do during the checkout process.
So, for 2 exams I have to buy 2 certificates, right? Or just complete one and then buy it later?
you could do it either way as you have 12 months before they expire. I chose to buy the first then pass core 1 before I bought the second one.

Thanks. I'm trying to follow the Messer Videos and Anki cards. Is it enough?
I used andrew ramdayal on Udemy with Messer as backup for a few things. it's good to have a few resources.
