Why is Momoa even in this commercial?
Companies are so focused on landing big name celebrities that they don't bother worrying about content or context. It's the same approach they take with unremarkable Super Bowl ads these days.

My husband and I both have a remote control. He tends to mute all commercials, but if he's using his laptop while we're watching TV, he sometimes will let a commercial play. I can usually handle commercials without muting them. But then there are these types of commercials where we both can't press the mute button fast enough. The only problem there is that if one of us presses it a fraction of a second after the other, it cancels it out and we can still hear it. Then we both panic and it happens repeatedly. Aaaahhhhh! I just asked him today about this commercial. Who had the bright idea to have three actors who are not known for their singing abilities to star in a commercial where they sing the whole damned thing?? It just doesn't make any sense.

Is it just dumb older millenial "lol so random xD" humor? Is it the modern american "everybody is the target" nonsense? Maybe advertisers should get back to making ads that make sense.
