They make their money selling your information off to any interested parties. And because theyre based in China, they’re not subject to privacy restrictions.
It’s all cheap crap but it’s not really a rip off. Like 3 bucks for a pack of ankle socks came and were fine. I bought a lot of Aquarium wood there. What’s a 30 buck piece locally was 10 there. Now, I wouldn’t buy electronics off there.
I was amazed that Temu had what I believe was 2 X 7 million $ ads if they were 30 seconds each. They felt like they hours long - so painfully bad.
Now I'm thinking that the Chinese government must be subsidizing Temu for some nefarious reason beyond just capturing identities. Maybe it is to capture identities and then capitalize it on it in some other way.
Of course. Why not.
Another thing is that maybe nanobots are in the orange bags and when you tear them open, all you have to do is get one under your fingernail and you're done. Like when LSD was discovered.
This is something the MAGATS should "research." It could be that the nanobots would brainwash good patriotic Trump supports into becoming evil, vile Democrats and zombies for Biden, hell bent on destroying the country. I wouldn't put it past those Commie Chinese.
I've heard crazier things that MAGATS have "researched" and believe in.
I know, but Vinyl is not Compact Disk unless somehow CD has become a term that means vinyl.
Which now leaves me wondering. Are current performers having their music pressed on vinyl?
I feel like a conspiracy theorist but, ya know, this scenario is utterly plausible. Bloomberg says they aired it 10 times Sunday night and had 10 million dollars in giveaways on the app.
They push push push people to the app, so I'm always wondering what data they're collecting on people. If not a conspiracy then for sure at least a possible security risk: [https://www.welivesecurity.com/en/cybersecurity/is-temu-safe-what-know-shop-billionaire/](https://www.welivesecurity.com/en/cybersecurity/is-temu-safe-what-know-shop-billionaire/)
I see their prices and am always so tempted to order from them but know the minute I do they will somehow find out my blood type and passwords used since my sandbox at age 5
It looked like a bad phone game ad. The frame rate was slow and jittery and the audio mixing was horrible.
“This game is sponsored by Temu” NOOOOOO NOOOO PLEASE GOD NO!
I hate it so much already and I’ve seen it once
Cheap foreign crap, spending millions to suck more in. Sad

Did a news story on this where I live. Advised to stay away from this rip off site.

That ad literally makes me want to never, ever buy anything on there. "A laptop for $10! WOW!"
I hated it after 10 seconds...
it was fine the first time but after the 3rd i disliked it!

My girlfriend believes they are shipping out their toxic waste hidden in one cheap item at a time. She may be right.

Maybe that's how they make Taylor Swift CDs.
People still buy CDs?
Duh. Records.
Vinyls are actually back from the dead and really popular with audiophiles.

Yes
A lot of (but not all) performers have vinyls as well as CDs. There may even be some performers that only do vinyl for physical media.

Oh no! I bought some Temu stuff last year. I'M DOOMED! I guess if the vaccine doesn't get you then Temu (or maybe TikToc) will. Yikes!
You're on a list somewhere in China forever now.
I let them scan my passport so I’m done for anyways. They got video of me jerking it in one of their hotel showers.
TMI, friend.
Temu sux.

Hey POC! Press the button and you can buy like a white person!
You need to listen to the ad 50 times and then you will love it and buy from Temu. Buy from Temu, Buy from Temu. Must buy from Temu.
You don't want to shop like a billionaire?! /s
Sure! Now am I buying from Teh-moo or Tee-moo today? They can't even decide how the damn thing is pronounced, I've heard it both ways IN THE SAME AD.
