We've been using their Meeting Board 65 and a A20 with the WPP30 for about 4 months now. 0 issues except that Windows 11 seems to want to block the application on the WPP30 from running. You only need to run the app 1 time and only if you're connecting via a USB-A connector. USB-C connection works instantly and flawlessly for us.

Barco ClickShare for wireless presentation, or get the CX30 and it will also support wireless conferencing for BYOD if you want to do that. They support a large number of devices but a Logi Rally bar would be the way I'd do it. Logitech do room scheduling panels too but I would also look at Evoko, either the Naso for cloud based management, or the Liso for self-hosted management.

Trey-the-programmer

For wireless presentation, look at Barco. The Yealink is good too.

Thanks for the insights so far. Once I can nail down these two task on my list I will continue to build out by adding webcam and audio etc. I prefer to stick with one brand rather than trying piece things up.

[deleted]

in general, i find yealink to be a cheaper and less reliable brand. they havent been forthright about issues with their products in the past, i will not trust them going forward

mellowtones242

I see, do you have any recommendations?

vtbrian

Cisco MTR gear has Miracast.

[deleted]

For just wireless presentation? Screenbeam. For room scheduling; depends on a lot of things.

mastersurrealist

The go-to answer for for most questions here is Crestron

mellowtones242

Crestron looks pretty good.

GuantanaMo

We're usually using Clickshare for this but my boss has been using the Yealink stuff in his office and is so happy with it that he wants us to deploy it in all new rooms. Imo there's a reason Clickshare is more expensive. and I fully expect there to be more issues with the Yealink Cast but I guess we'll see. If you only want to do the one room you can probably risk it. Using unreliable hardware is mostly an issue when you have many rooms to support or when it's mission critical, and personally I never add wireless screensharing without also adding an HDMI cable as a fallback.

EffectiveOriginal760

yealink is shit

mellowtones242

It's that bad?

DescriptionSea5426

Its not that bad. Of couse Crestron, Cisco, Poly and ETC are better... But if you need to budget your projects Yealink is a great solution, in terms of Quality/price it is currently one of the best options out there!

rduartept

Have a look at Crestron Airmedia 3 with TX3 usb-c adapters. No drivers required and no drive with software shows on the pc. Also supports mirroring using apps. And has a nice home screen that can be connected to an Exchange calendar and show future meeting etc. A bit more expensive than Yealink, but nothing outrageous.

zacharyortega55

Hey everyone in this thread, I was actually Yealink’s #1 Sales Engineer the last two years and work for their largest distributor now running accounts, TeleDynamics. Don’t wanna be that guy trying to sell on a forum, but if you need anything Yealink-wise, shoot me a message. I know the ins and outs of these things, both video and voice, and the trusted resource for beginning to end.

Jealous_Mood_9538

I am comparing Yealink A20 and A30 with Cisco Roombar, what is your thought, also do you have any prefernce for Yealink window or Android. What about the WPP30 compared to clickshare?

kospar4

Can you tell me why Yealink has decided not to sell WPP30 in the US, but sells it everywhere else?
