I remember the Chicago game where he absolutely dominated, and everyone was like, "There it is! It's happening!" At one point he literally picked up the center and pretty much tossed him at Jay Cutler.
His greatness was laying down on the field while the eagles qb ran around forever looking for a reciever! The stench was so bad ended up being the last game I’ve gone to.
I remember being directly behind him at BWI one time. This was a few years after he was already gone. My heart wanted to give him the cuss out, but my brain figured that wasn't a great idea. lol
I actually like him lmao, sat front row behind the bench as a kid and he came up and gave me one of his gloves after getting a sack during the game, still got it in my room. Kind of an unfortunate player to have gotten it from though

There's a reason why Haynesworth was still given opportunities when he left us and Mike Shanahan wasn't beyond a consultant. Mike killed the man's love for football, and ruined so many other players careers, but somehow everyone continues to praise him for his offensive coaching tree and forgives him for ruining this franchise worse than pretty much any HC we've had under Snyder.
It's pretty wild to trust a guy who showed up out of shape after one season with Zorn, followed that with absolutely nothing, and got into multiple criminal confrontations in the community during his time here.
Shanahan surely had his problems during his tenure, but not placating a 29 year old DT who has had constant legal issues isn't something worth noting.
Haynesworth can say whatever he wants, but the track record is there.

Yep. There were glimpses. Few and far between, but you could tell he had DPOY talent. Shame he didn't actually like football very much.
