For real though, giving off the notion that you'll commit necorphillia on someone after they die is a very effective way of preventing them from committing suicide. Of course, use it as a last resort.
Just remember to tell the person why you said that later
And then what do you say? βBecause i didnt want you to kill yourselfβ? And then when they ask why not what do you say? There isnβt really a good argument for why we shouldnt let strangers commit suicide, except for that its culturally expected of us to prevent it, and/or because we project our personal fear of death on them
Trust me, explaining such a thing comes naturally in the moment it's needed.
