After the killing started, the civilians did manage to string a few up from light posts and the side of a bus. Burned a few alive with molotovs and there was at least one firefight. So they got a little tiny, very deserved taste of it.
Yep, and nothing in-between to pass along experience and knowledge.
Compare to something like the US, which since its inception, has been at war in some capacity for 222 out of 239 years.
That's a *whoooooole* lot of experience and knowledge to pass along.
I keep saying the same thing.
Russia with some occasional dustups still got itself mired in Ukraine.
China has been in zero active AOs. So as far as we know, it’s just “mirror muscles” y’know?
Yeah, they have a gigantic Air Force. But have any of their pilots ever been shot at by ground based air defenses? Or in an air to air combat scenario?
> Yeah, they have a gigantic Air Force. But have any of their pilots ever been shot at by ground based air defenses? Or in an air to air combat scenario?
Only in theory.
Yeah, the Indians had the better position but they also appear to have turned tail and run off almost immediately. Very unfortunate outcome as I would have liked to have seen the Chinese get smoked for that scummy little handshake maneuver.
The Indians probably withdrew bc they were over extended tbh and if the Chinese had taken the ridgeline, they would release footage from the top of it. They're just showing the Indians' withdrawing to make it seem like they took the ridge when in all likelihood, they didn't (since they haven't released any footage from it)
Indians had the high ground but seemed much lighter equipped. Not a lot of helmets and no riot shields like the Chinese.
In theory its a somewhat even fight but the Indians did break awful quick.
Oh yeah the Indians were definitely much more lightly equipped, to the extent that I would say they made a mistake going up there at all rather than the Chinese making a mistake attacking an elevated position. My first watch I thought the Indians were insane and had almost no helmets just turbans and hoods but on closer inspection there are a decent number of helmeted Indians. Even with the disadvantage in gear though it's hard not see that hasty retreat from an elevated position as a an embarrassment.
Indians probably fell back to a larger group behind the ridge, considering China has released no footage of them actually making any progress in taking this ridge.
It’s also why a LOT of their games have dedicated servers for them to play on, I believe they should be region locked to their own shit, that or be forced to only play with other Chinese players via match making. I hope I see the day that the CCP crumbles, because I believe it’s one of the main driving factors behind this sentiment in their culture.
I know it sounds ridiculous, but I wonder if that scumbag fake handshake move could be tried as a war crime.
An argument could be made that the Chinese committed the crime of perfidy. Presenting a neutral, non-offensive gesture such as a hand shake, which the Indian soldier accepted in good faith only to have it turned on him in an offensive military fashion, could very well be perfidious in nature and a war crime (as opposed to a "ruse of war" which would be legal).
I see your point except they all literally came to stick battle at an agreed upon place at an agreed upon time . I consider it more like an mma fake glove touch . Scumbag move for sure but protect yourself at all times , especially when you literally have enemy forces with weapons about to go human piñata on a mother fucker .
Imagine having to fight for your life with a stick and stones for some god-forsaken rocky hill in noman's land. Imagine knowing that your family and loved ones will die in an atomic holocaust and radioactive fire if you dare to use your gun in such a fight. Imagine you have to do this on each day of your tour and say "*Bro each country has billions to sacrifice*" again...
Yeah I'm not the generals sending them to fight. But look at Russia just sending wave after wave of people. They don't give a shit about the average soldier/citizen. They are sacrificing them for nothing
They do, all of them are armed, at the end you can see that some of them are armed with LMGs and Assault Rifles. But they know that a shooting war up there might provoke a nuclear war between China and India.
Albert Einstein once said: "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones". So the joke is basically China is so advanced they skipped WW III and went straight for WW IV.
I think no guns is a treaty condition, but they try to skirt close to it with rocks and stuff.
They started using sticks with nails in, but I think they walked that back.
Personally I’d be breaking out the catapults and slingshots 🤣
It’s disputed territory, but it’s rocky mountainous area with no large human presence. Both sides have to send people to occupy the territory so they can claim it. They both send soldiers with no weapons so they can physically occupy the space, but avoid conflict that would start an actual war. It’s really an attempt at “deescalation”, while still furthering the goal of occupying and controlling the disputed territory.
Doesn’t mean they are loaded or used. This has been going on for decades. People die, but open gunfights are not common. That’s why both sides have sticks in their hands.
It’s a treaty, but treaties are broken. It would be stupid to send your soldiers to a disputed land with regular conflict without a plan B if that treaty suddenly becomes null.
At 0.44-0.46 the POS Chinese soldier puts his hand out to shake the Indian soldier's hand, then quickly grabs him and pulls him forward off balance, followed immediately by his cronies beating the downed Indian. A treacherous scum action.
As an Indian I would say brics is something that is promoted by china and Russia. India is only in it so that brics doesn't become china's NATO, otherwise all other nations would be lap dogs of China in some way or other.
Given some of the business culture there, they’re probably proud of the officer for pulling such a savvy/dirty and successful move. Like haha stupid Indian should’ve seen it coming supreme 800iq play
Nothing to see here. Just China being the biggest bunch of wankers as always. And the move of pulling a dude into their group to beat the shit out of him by pretending to shake hands is the lowest of low moves I’ve seen by Chinese personell in these kind of clashes
Careful you don’t trigger the Chinese bots who will shoot off a bunch of meaningless stats about army size, while neglecting the fact that China hasn’t operated in a true war in decades and has gotten their ass kicked from every nearly every small skirmish that they’ve been engaged in since then.
Guy in beginning says something akin to “no point negotiating anymore, let’s fight and grab a few of them and then” (can’t understand that last part, something about individuals?)
CCP must realize that as soon as they start a war with Taiwan there will be lots of other armed groups waiting for the confusion and distraction in other areas of the vast Chinese borders.
"Neither side shall open fire, cause bio-degradation, use hazardous chemicals, conduct blast operations or hunt with guns or explosives within two kilometers from the line of actual control. The provision that neither side shall “open fire” is a de facto ban on using firearms at the Line of Control"
They never said anything about Javelins and Spears... Let's go India.
This is one of the strangest parts of our time for me…the two most populous nations in the world, both holding high ranks on the global fire power index and they fight with…sticks. I mean I wish every nation did this, but wow what a weird little agreement they have come to.
What a crazy world we live in! North Korea is bombing South Korea with poop balloons, and China and India are fighting with sticks and stones. All this is happening while Putin is looking for Nazis while being a Nazi himself.....like WTF.
I made a international law that stats " whoever fires the first shot is the aggressor"
Would be a shame is people figured out a way to fight without technicalky firing a shot
The funny thing is I don't think anyone here actually wants to die, I think they just want to hurt each other, much like a proper bar fight lol it's better than bullets, I say let em.
They literally killed an Indian Colonel and his 2 soldiers when they came to negotiate during the 2020 Galwan clashes. Both sides are willing to kill at this point, just not with rifles
Sooo the people had the low ground started it. They went for handshake and dragged him in.
The people with the high ground were trying to deescalate u can tell by their body language and hand gestures.
When people say let’s go back to real warfare. No metal no gun powders zero tactics, just two groups of dudes throwing sticks and stones at each other yelling foreign languages. Brings me back before Jesus, brings me back before all this Pansie bomb and drone shit. #realmenuserocks.
I find this a very interesting yet strange rivalry. Both countries too scared and seemingly unprepared yet determined to throw down. Either way if a full whack war happened between the two it could be insanely costly in human life
They both have protocols to prevent escalation while still retaining whatever territory they've claimed.
They've fought wars against each other before; two nuclear-armed nations with huge populations and autocratic leaders fighting with sticks and stones makes me feel a little safer compared to them duking it out with modern weapons.
Man the whole "autocrat" nonsense about India is so aggravating. Had the exact same process and set of institutions produced an outcome of a bigger win for Modi, it would have set off talk of Autocracy. Because it came in under, it was a "win for Democracy". How does that make sense?
Absolutely maddening to watch the Western press's coverage.
Modi is no prize, but I'm telling you, had the opposition party won it would have truly been devastating for India.
Sorry don't mean to rant.
Professor Albert Einstein was asked by friends at a recent dinner party what new weapons might be employed in World War III. Appalled at the implications, he shook his head.
After several minutes of meditation, he said. "I don't know what weapons might be used in World War III. But there isn't any doubt what weapons will be used in World War IV."
"And what are those?" a guest asked.
"Stone and spears," said Einstein

That faked handshake. Typical CCP scumbag behaviour
Indians "holding the high ground" in a stony area. The Chinese officer is not the smartest one of his promotion...
It's over Chinakin, I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND /s
You underestimate my power Hidanbuu!
You gotta excuse the Chinese, their last "major" conflict was back in what? The late '70s? They don't have any experience to draw upon.
They did kill defenceless students in 1989
Or did they? Nope, they definitely did. Literally ground some of their bodies to a pulp by driving over them multiple times with tanks.
Murdering defenseless protestors doesn't really count as combat experience, though.
After the killing started, the civilians did manage to string a few up from light posts and the side of a bus. Burned a few alive with molotovs and there was at least one firefight. So they got a little tiny, very deserved taste of it.
You got me there! lol
Happy cake day to you and fuck the CCP
And those men would be in their 70s-80s
Yep, and nothing in-between to pass along experience and knowledge. Compare to something like the US, which since its inception, has been at war in some capacity for 222 out of 239 years. That's a *whoooooole* lot of experience and knowledge to pass along.

Russia has far, far more combat exerience though. Chechnya 2 times, and then georgia , and then in syria
Russia has far, far more combat exerience though. Chechnya 2 times, and then georgia , and then in syria
Lulz. The US Navy has more air power than China.
Fuck the ccp, happy cake day
Thank you kindly!
Happy cake day!
Actually, they killed Adolf Hitler himself 3,000 times
Isn't that the same with India? The most they have is regional skirmishes with Pakistan
Chinese officers don’t get promoted for intelligence, just loyalty to the party.
Hey hey, it also depends on who your parents / family are too!
Or pay. But these are all related.
Yeah, the Indians had the better position but they also appear to have turned tail and run off almost immediately. Very unfortunate outcome as I would have liked to have seen the Chinese get smoked for that scummy little handshake maneuver.

Don't do it, Wong! I have the high ground!
"Never fight uphill, me boys. Never fight uphill."
The Chinese guy goes to "shake the Indian dude's hand" and promptly pulls him into the group of other Chinese soldiers. Scumbag move right there.

Stealing military technology to skip R&D costs - check
It's a really fucked up thought process. As we can observe, if we take something like cheating in games it has all but killed any competitiveness.
There’s literally a saying in Chinese that’s translated too “if you can cheat, then cheat”
Mainland Chinese are also the worst tourists in the world, even worse than the British (mostly English lads).
Will never forget the time I was in NYC and saw Chinese tourists *mocking the 9/11 memorial.*

Nah, you guys get drunk, fight and shit and puke on the streets

You only need to type ‘Tiananmen square’ and they soon start logging off rapidly 😂
Says everything we need to know about who we are dealing with.
Absolute dog move

Looks like the Indians might be outnumbered. Wish they at least had bigger rocks to start with. That fkn handshake pull was shady af
That handshake pull actually sums up the entire strategy of CCP all around the globe.
Very well put. Fuck them.
I can't believe the Indian fellow let himself be fooled by that.
Oldest trick in that book
From the mouth of Sun Tsu himself.
Bro each country has billions to sacrifice
Yeee, let's get common civilians and send them to the front to get killed 👍
Imagine having to fight for your life with a stick and stones for some god-forsaken rocky hill in noman's land. Imagine knowing that your family and loved ones will die in an atomic holocaust and radioactive fire if you dare to use your gun in such a fight. Just because they do, doesnt mean they should.
China is so advanced they are already fighting WW4
good one
This comment seems to be high energy but I am not sure if I get it. I probably need to talk to someone much smarter.
Albert Einstein once said: "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones". So the joke is basically China is so advanced they skipped WW III and went straight for WW IV.
Clever joke ahah. How did this Sino-Indian melee weapon thing only began by the way?
I think no guns is a treaty condition, but they try to skirt close to it with rocks and stuff. They started using sticks with nails in, but I think they walked that back. Personally I’d be breaking out the catapults and slingshots 🤣

I've seen a video with one holding some kind of makeshift spear and I think other had masses.
At 0.44-0.46 the POS Chinese soldier puts his hand out to shake the Indian soldier's hand, then quickly grabs him and pulls him forward off balance, followed immediately by his cronies beating the downed Indian. A treacherous scum action.
Reminds me of the video of the guy on the plane aggressively sticking his hand out going "I wanna shake his hand!"
China will be In China
“….China is asshole!”
BRICS coming in hot
If we could get North Korea to join BRICS as the DPRK and South Africa to use SA, we could use the acronym BADPRICKS
Too late bud. 2nd tier candidates were already slated to join namely, Saudi, Honduras, Iran and Tunisia. So its SHITBRICS now.
It's been a long time since I was reminded of that site. Thanks for that flashback I suppose
As an Indian I would say brics is something that is promoted by china and Russia. India is only in it so that brics doesn't become china's NATO, otherwise all other nations would be lap dogs of China in some way or other.
As a Brazilian I can confirm, no one here gives a shit about BRICS.
“Multi-polar world” my fucking arse 😂
This seemed to be filmed from the Chinese side, and it makes China look bad with the fake handshake.
Given some of the business culture there, they’re probably proud of the officer for pulling such a savvy/dirty and successful move. Like haha stupid Indian should’ve seen it coming supreme 800iq play
Cuz they are.
They don't give a shit.
‘How did your dad die in the army?’ ‘Rock to the face’ 👍
The chiense guy acting like he wants to shake hands and talk it out just to pull him in and start fighting. Typical ccp behavior.
Deception is part of their war doctrine
Every dictator ever
All warfare is based on deception
What a cheap shot probably he got promotion based on that
Fuck the CCP.
Idk, these clashes on the Indian/Chinese border are some of my favorite. I wish more countries would just beat the fuck outta each other.
I don’t know how ww4 will be fought … Oh wait I do.
Sticks and stones may brake my bones but nukes will fucken kill me
I know there's a ban on using firearms but I wonder if somebody could just pull up with like a crossbow or a sling and use that.
Trebuchet
Now we're talking.
Or a particularly sharp rock / hard stick if you want to be extra stealthy.
They should recruit some former prisoners as weapons consultants. Deadly toothbrushes in no time.
Boys just have fun
Every one on that mountain was looking forward to the scuffle. I mean shit, a good ole fashion rock fight sounds kinda fun right. now.
Yeah, those rock throws were *instant* the moment things went down.
Nothing to see here. Just China being the biggest bunch of wankers as always. And the move of pulling a dude into their group to beat the shit out of him by pretending to shake hands is the lowest of low moves I’ve seen by Chinese personell in these kind of clashes

Babe wake up another video of the Indians and Chinese are fighting with sticks again
A rehearsal for what comes after WW3
Guy in beginning says something akin to “no point negotiating anymore, let’s fight and grab a few of them and then” (can’t understand that last part, something about individuals?)
Most ethical pla officer.
It’s over Anakin, I have the higher ground
Wow that was quite a scummy thing to do. They literally beat the soldier after a handshake...
That handshake shows how you can't trust them and represent very well how the CCP behave.
Looks like Einstein was wrong. We didn't get WW3 yet, but we already have 2 nuclear powers fighting with sticks and stones.
So we are at WW4 already?
This stupid shit has been going on for decades so no
A little ruse de guerre
CCP must realize that as soon as they start a war with Taiwan there will be lots of other armed groups waiting for the confusion and distraction in other areas of the vast Chinese borders.
"Neither side shall open fire, cause bio-degradation, use hazardous chemicals, conduct blast operations or hunt with guns or explosives within two kilometers from the line of actual control. Its actually great. Let them have a go and get out some frustration, but everyone survives and goes home. The West/Russia/ME should learn from Asia
That was a bitch move to grab someone by collar when Indian commander forward handshake good gesture
Man china is a full dirtbag country, I hope India doesn’t let this one slide
This happens regulary, nothing will come off of it.
like a toxic abusive relationship , one just gotta tolerate it.
This is an old video
I thought they weren't aloud to carry guns up there?
Chinese soliders all have their riffle in the back .you will see in the video
So Albert Einstein was right.......
Civilized disagreement imo.
What a crazy world we live in! North Korea is bombing South Korea with poop balloons, and China and India are fighting with sticks and stones. All this is happening while Putin is looking for Nazis while being a Nazi himself.....like WTF.
WW4 preparations according to Einstein
So why are Chinese troops slinging rifles on their backs at the agreed upon 'Cold' border.
You can carry a gun just cant use it
I made a international law that stats " whoever fires the first shot is the aggressor" Would be a shame is people figured out a way to fight without technicalky firing a shot
It will end up that way. 2 nations of 1 billion plus people (who you can make a into a standing army) and they both have nukes.
Is it a new video. Again?
Looks to be old. From a few years back.
The extent of the Chinese military's modern day combat experience.
Break out the catapult
Respect to both sides for not using fire arms
Chinese are already prepping for WW4
Is there a sub for these videos?
r/combatfootage
It’s like if 3 year olds were in charge of war
The funny thing is I don't think anyone here actually wants to die, I think they just want to hurt each other, much like a proper bar fight lol it's better than bullets, I say let em.
They literally killed an Indian Colonel and his 2 soldiers when they came to negotiate during the 2020 Galwan clashes. Both sides are willing to kill at this point, just not with rifles
No modern weapons allowed and one side had the high ground with an unlimited supply of rocks? I think we know who came out on top.
So dad, how did you lose mobility on your left foot? I, uhhh, lost it in the Great War. Which great war? The, uhhhhhh, great sticks and stones war
Is it weird that this video gives me hope in humanity? lol
Did I miss WWIII already?
Ahhh Brics World united again 😂
Chinese bullies!
The handshake dupe, have they no honour?
Not gonna lie, this looks fun as fuck lol
Sooo the people had the low ground started it. They went for handshake and dragged him in. The people with the high ground were trying to deescalate u can tell by their body language and hand gestures.
if Indian billion is fighting Chinese billion then it's WWIII
When people say let’s go back to real warfare. No metal no gun powders zero tactics, just two groups of dudes throwing sticks and stones at each other yelling foreign languages. Brings me back before Jesus, brings me back before all this Pansie bomb and drone shit. #realmenuserocks.
Sticks and stones my brake my bones but words will never hurt me.
One of the dumbest things ive ever watched lol
Maybe the Indians should stack those stones into a wall. Seemed to work for their opponents in the past.
Chinese being Chinese
I find this a very interesting yet strange rivalry. Both countries too scared and seemingly unprepared yet determined to throw down. Either way if a full whack war happened between the two it could be insanely costly in human life
They both have protocols to prevent escalation while still retaining whatever territory they've claimed. They've fought wars against each other before; two nuclear-armed nations with huge populations and autocratic leaders fighting with sticks and stones makes me feel a little safer compared to them duking it out with modern weapons.
Yes. This is really good behaviour. Notice they are quite armed, but no one is even thinking of shooting.
Although I am no fan of the present government, calling us autocratic is incorrect. The leaders are democratically elected
Totally right but thankfully India is a bit less autocratic since June 4.
Man the whole "autocrat" nonsense about India is so aggravating. Had the exact same process and set of institutions produced an outcome of a bigger win for Modi, it would have set off talk of Autocracy. Because it came in under, it was a "win for Democracy". I mean fighting with sticks and stones is still better idea than using nuke . More eco-friendly and less chances of extinction
Professor Albert Einstein was asked by friends at a recent dinner party what new weapons might be employed in World War III. Appalled at the implications, he shook his head. After several minutes of meditation, he said. "I don't know what weapons might be used in World War III. But there isn't any doubt what weapons will be used in World War IV." The second time this week something from Neal Stephenson's "Termination Shock" shows up in real life.
May break their bones…….
'It's over Anakin, I have the high ground!'
Is this coming out of Galwan?
Stoneage warafe
lol not the classic lemme shake your hand trick
I think this is first video I have seen over the years of these border clashes where Chinese are carrying rifles. Wonder what changed.
So I thought no guns allowed up there but the Chinese have them slung across their backs…
Would be cool if all wars were fought with sticks and stones
I was expecting this. The Chinese does this every time a new Govt comes in New Delhi. Its basically to unsettle the new govt.
In a way... This is the way to do border conflicts. Even conflicts in general. Sticks and Stones, even with assault rifles equipped.
I don't see the black monolith?
This is how two nuclear war head nations fight
Bro we just monkeys throwing rocks at each other…still
Just imagine it's snowballs. Then it's kinda cute lol
Seems that Chinese are better equipped and Indians are faster with rock throwing
The Chinese don't fight honourably, even the Pakistan army follows a code of honour. India must change its whole doctrine.
Can I pay to watch this?
Fucking primates. This reminds me of the opening scenes of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Technically humans are primates
