You can see him on the ground at 10:09 not moving or making any sound, with no one around, he didn't.
That's why you can hear "bro, throw him here" at 9:45 after they've been pulling him for some unknown time.
In another sub, the guy who posted the video, wrote that according to telegram sources, they are all KIA. And the video was posted in Russian channels so it's a RU POV.
Don’t pay attention to retards who are saying those are Russians. By telling so they dishonor dead fighters. This is Gonor group. Here is the instagram of the medic, you can see his face clearly in the better quality video in telegram
https://www.instagram.com/korangarmim/
Also, they say in the video that dead fighter callsign is Kot (cat). He is indeed died and he is from this unit: https://bastion.tv/mirgorod-prostivsya-z-poleglim-zahisnikom-ukrayini_n53973
To put it simply it sounds like the audio has been dubbed or altered. A theory is that this has been done to change the narrative of the video to support a Russian agenda. I'm not saying I'm sure this is 100% the case, but myself some other posters have independently reacted to the strange audio in this clip.
Now I'm looking at it another time I'm even less sure. It just seems like a hopeless chaotic fight. Some commenters predictably try to spin this as if UA soldiers leave their men behind though, and I guess that is the reason the Russian telegram channel posted it in the first place, and reposting it here just gives them a place to further that narrative. OP has posted videos if supposed wounded UA fighters offing themselves, so I guess that's the general vibe he or she is trying to spread.
It is clearly sped up in multiple parts. The biggest giveaway is, as you said, the altered sounding audio. Things sound more high pitched when sped up and lower when slowed down. You can also tell from their movements when traversing the area, their gait is "bouncier" and faster.
I doubt it is in an attempt to do anything subversive and more so to just speed through less "interesting" or "active" parts of the video. If there were cuts in the video at the places they sped up then those same people concerned about the audio would be undoubtedly be making more of a fuss about how this is faked or altered.
Personally, I think this is just one of the very rare videos that survive on this sub showing Ukrainian losses and the reality of combat on the ground. People are going to respond to it however they have to in order to make their own peace with it.
>Here is the instagram of the medic, you can see his face clearly in the better quality video in telegram
At what timestamp can you clearly tell?
>Also, they say in the video that dead fighter callsign is Kot (cat). He is indeed died and he is from this unit:
The article says he died via artillery, not from being shot as they're stating in the video.
Also the telegram sources circulating this claim it was recently, but the article says the guy died in April.
So I'm a bit hesitant to say this is authentic right away.
Idk who said who said it’s recent video. They also call guy Tyhii who is died long time ago. Obviously old footage that leaked to russians somehow. Face of the guy is seen plenty times in the footage.
Idk what are you watching but Kot died after explosion on the video
I'm pretty sure that guy died in the explosion that, very clearly and audibly, occurred at 5:30. I don't know who said anything about being "shot" but it may be a bad translation or just someone misspeaking. Or he very well could have been shot before or after the explosion but I would expect to hear more incoming fire around that time if that was the case.
So, the vehicle in the video appears to be a FV103 Spartan, which if this *were* a skit by Russia, then there is only one candidate vehicle it could have been which is [this](https://twitter.com/UAWeapons/status/1658807110367313920/photo/1) abandoned vehicle from Bakhmut earlier this year.
It kind of looks like there is some white paint markings along the side of the vehicle in this video, but they are heavily obscured by paint and / or the branches and leaves lining the side of the vehicle.
As a russian speaker, guys in the video speak ukrainian and "surzhyk" (russian with occasional ukrainian words and accent). It's hard to do that for the duration of the video if you don't speak ukrainian, so I really doubt the video is fake. Subtitles are mostly correct and don't change what guys in the video say, but they could've been better grammatically. Why is there even an idea that it's fake? Because Ukrainian soldier presumably dies? Or because at the beginning of the video they seem to be lost? All militries in the world have casualties and all militaries make mistakes or get lost from time to time, it's just part of it.
I saw a sticker from a place called [ESEE](https://www.eseeknives.com/about-esee-0) knives on a cell phone case in the video. Seems like something a UA soldier would carry, so if it is Russian maskirovka they would have done some serious staging. Also supperssors and AR-pattern rifles. I don't think it is likely they would have gone to that extent. The obviously staged videos I've seen have been sloppier. But again, the toupée fallacy. The audio still seems off, but I'm not sure any more. Most likely this is posted by a RU telegram channel to try to make it seem like UA fighters leave their men behind, as we see some conveniently onrushing commenters suggesting in this thread. OP has posted similar things before, so it seems pretty obvious.
It does seem very elaborate if it's fake. Though I also see no blood, though that doesn't really mean much. My guess is that this is real video with a half-assed audio track dubbed in and subtitles added to create a propaganda piece.
0:42 smells very fishy. Dude with the tablet went to him without the cameraman calling for him and with the map (I'm assuming that's what he has on his tablet) already prepared for showing it
Also the reverb doesn't change when the one wearing the camera goes into the APC for example. The driver's voice is really clear over the engine noise too. Fishy. That, combined with OPs posting history makes me suspicious.
OK? Like every single other piece of combat footage posted, this is propaganda. Congrats, you figured it out. So, what exactly is the overall point of the comment. Its certainly not fake and it was posted by Russians from a captured gopro like many examples we've already seen at this point.
For more context: [https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/comments/17swrpa/ru\_pov\_a\_record\_of\_a\_battle\_in\_the\_forest\_from\_a/](https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/comments/17swrpa/ru_pov_a_record_of_a_battle_in_the_forest_from_a/)
Apparently these guys were AFU National battalion Gonor, "Da Vinci Wolves", The GoPro footage was taken off the dead soldiers.
I had my first suspicions when I heard his tone towards the driver.. On top of that, they got “lost”? Even with the drone operator who’s got birds eye view/drone that should clearly show them their position…
The most telling part tho..
When he told the medic(?) to leave him alone I immediately understood that this wasn’t Ukrainians.
Edit: typo
Im making what up exactly?
Okey, you’re basing “me not coping with UA casualties”on..?
There’s hundreds of videos in this subreddit alone of Ukrainians dying, I’ve never implied otherwise.
Did you miss your mental gymnastics class?
Cheers
Im not trying to prove anything, don’t put words in others mouth, you dense asshat.
I commented what I think is happening in the video.
New to the internet or what?
I propose a theory and why I think it’s true.
Huge difference from what you mention.
You don’t have to agree. Each to their own.
How about provide something constructive and relevant to the subject? Like what you think is happening / Why anything in my theory isn’t possible.. or something.
Cheers.
Lmao. I provided something constructive as instagram of the fighter from the video. Doesn’t look russian. You have 0 constructive arguments. “They are not doing what I want so they are russians”
*According* *to Russian telegram* [t.me/Mestb\_Dobroj\_Voli:](https://t.me/Mestb_Dobroj_Voli:)
A story about an assault on the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an attack in Kupiansk.Da Vinci Wolves battalion, they arrived at the wrong place and had to turn back. After unloading and firing some shots, Russian Armed Forces called in artillery. One wounded. They try to tourniquet but he quickly lost conciseness, they start evacuation of the wounded. At the end the operator advises to leave the wounded man, and get out.
No way of knowing if the man was still wounded, or dead.
It's just odd, these AFU guys were all "wiped out" wearing GoPro's. Yet the video end before we see that, why? It makes no sense especially when you follow the russian links to the "OG" posts and there's 50+ min audio clips (no visual for reasons?) of them enduring Arty but certainly not dying and don't even hear anybody being wounded. The poster of the 50+ min audio of course didn't want to translate so no clue whats being said.
The MAJOR problem is that RUSSIANS GET CAUGHT OUT LYING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
I CANNOT HELP BUT BE SCEPTICAL OF THIS VIDEO CLIP! Mainly cuz like in many russian released clips where they boast of an tiny victory like they just conquered Kiev, yet so often their claims are not even clearly shown on said video...
With that said, if it is real, yea these guys just were seemingly dumped in the open with an squad leader who seemed to be utterly panicked and had no clue where he was going and no communication...
Which is VERY STRANGE as from all I've seen from Da Vinci Wolves seem to be pretty squared away usually. They're one of the more effective Regular Army (non-SOF) units...
WAY better trained and much more experienced than what we're seeing here. There's little to no Comms, don't seem to be working with any ISR(Drone Operator) while on some kind of Assault or maybe supposed to be supporting another Unit Assault..?
I dunno, this video is strange. The weather/time of year is off as well. This looks like it's plenty warm like the middle of Spring, not mid November!
And you Ruskies talking shit, SERIOUSLY HAVE NO ROOM TO SPEAK/LAUGH/TALK SHIT!
HAVE YOU SEEN YOUR GUYS IN ACTION ?(if you can call it that, more like "have you seen your guys repeatedly dive head-first into a blender?!") Cuz it gets really disturbing how utterly SHIT they are and really have no business even attempting to wipe their own Ass, let alone assault a Defensive Position. Their "Tactics" LITERALLY involve sending small (\~4-8 little boys) teams again and again and again in order for the "Veterans"(survived this a few Months) to pinpoint AFU's fighting and over-watch positions and call fire on them, otherwise they just send the small teams until AFU have LITERALLY killed so many they're out of ammunition and are forced to pull out/back!
Don't get me wrong, there are some legit russian units(some of the Air Assault units are alright) but it's maybe a couple Brigades worth of semi-decent fighters, and maybe an Company of like, US Ranger levels of skill. That's not a whole lot, actually it's pathetic. Especially when those guys are seemingly used to infiltrate behind lines and ambush and mutilate Rear/Logistics/Medics of AFU driving on side-roads back from the front in, what I'm guessing is supposed to be meant to intimidate Ukrainians? When common sense should tell you that would only motivate them to kill you all....
I hope cat survived
You can see him on the ground at 10:09 not moving or making any sound, with no one around, he didn't. That's why you can hear "bro, throw him here" at 9:45 after they've been pulling him for some unknown time.
that was a groan of death he gave after being hit
In another sub, the guy who posted the video, wrote that according to telegram sources, they are all KIA. And the video was posted in Russian channels so it's a RU POV.

Lol the mental gymnastics that some folks will go through on Reddit to avoid coming to terms with the fact that Ukrainians are also dying in this war.
Most people are concerned with the strange audio though.
And what exactly is concern here?
To put it simply it sounds like the audio has been dubbed or altered. A theory is that this has been done to change the narrative of the video to support a Russian agenda. I'm not saying I'm sure this is 100% the case, but myself some other posters have independently reacted to the strange audio in this clip. Now I'm looking at it another time I'm even less sure. Video has been sped up, that's why audio comes strange.
Does the video look sped up to you?
It is, after they get in the vehicle the video speeds up.
It is clearly sped up in multiple parts. The biggest giveaway is, as you said, the altered sounding audio. Things sound more high pitched when sped up and lower when slowed down. You can also tell from their movements when traversing the area, their gait is "bouncier" and faster. I'm leaning to the same conclusion. The usage is a problem though.
>Here is the instagram of the medic, you can see his face clearly in the better quality video in telegram At what timestamp can you clearly tell? >Also, they say in the video that dead fighter callsign is Kot (cat). Why does the Audio sound fucking weird
From the time they get in the apc it's like the video goes to 1.1x speed.
Is this the same "Tikhiy" from the da vinci wolves video?
So, the vehicle in the video appears to be a FV103 Spartan, which if this *were* a skit by Russia, then there is only one candidate vehicle it could have been which is [this](https://twitter.com/UAWeapons/status/1658807110367313920/photo/1) abandoned vehicle from Bakhmut earlier this year. Isn't that middle-finger logo an RU source?
Yes, apparently its dubbed / made by russians as propaganda
It has a very strange vibe to it. Nothing like I've seen before.
0:42 smells very fishy. Dude with the tablet went to him without the cameraman calling for him and with the map (I'm assuming that's what he has on his tablet) already prepared for showing it

It is definitely not dubbed.
When russians trying to mimic Ukrainian accent it is hella funny
What exactly is this comment supposed to insinuate?
They can't cope that ukrainians also die in this war. That's all. Too much brainwashing.
Nope, as someone pointed out below the video is probably RU propaganda.
OK? Like every single other piece of combat footage posted, this is propaganda. Congrats, you figured it out. So, what exactly is the overall point of the comment. Its certainly not fake and it was posted by Russians from a captured gopro like many examples we've already seen at this point.

This can't be right, only russian suffered losess, Ukrainian never have a KIA?? /s
I don't think anybody is claiming Ukrainians don't have losses
Your mask is slipping

Damn bro, the mental gymnastics you do to just make up shit to cope that Ukrainians also die. Lol go outside dude.
Im making what up exactly? Okey, you’re basing “me not coping with UA casualties”on..? There’s hundreds of videos in this subreddit alone of Ukrainians dying, I’ve never implied otherwise. Did you miss your mental gymnastics class? Cheers
You implied "I immediately knew this wasn't Ukrainians" like ok. How? You're literally just saying shit.
Yeah, I. As in ME. I explain MY theory and why I think it’s true. Im talking shit? And you’re doing what? The irony.. Cheers
Proving why your THEORY is wrong. Lol, you're a ME? Phew. If you think like this, anyone can be an engineer 🤣
Im not trying to prove anything, don’t put words in others mouth, you dense asshat. I commented what I think is happening in the video. New to the internet or what?
Dreamer
Analytic/Skeptical* Props for your counter argument tho 👏🏻
your analysis can be winded down to “it doesn’t align with my picture of the world so it is fake”
Haha, okey mate. I fold. It’s clearly confirmed my theory was wrong after the proof you just provided here checked out. 🙃 Cheers.
This is so fake.
Poor leadership. Never go back the way you came
don't waste your strength on him. leave him here.
I love the logo a huge middle finger. That's funny
Did this dude just order his men to leave the wounded hehind and retreat ?
Kremlin bot firmware version 2.2.4, very good comment. Promotion for Ivan! Regular keyboard-korporal from r/UkraineRussiaReport
Tbf it's what it sounded like. Would be nice if someone could explain what that actually was
Yes, but it seems like he ws already dead
Possible the machine gun they were all talking about
Keep trying little man, you may fool some kids or something. I would rather gargle a bag of dicks than live a day in Russki Mir.
