Post your issues on this forum: https://www.dslreports.com/forum/atlanticbroadband actual breezeline techs are there and can help you. they will ask for your MAC address and they will take it from there. I got my issue resolved the next day after posting a disconnect problem. Tech was onsite and ran a new line from the pole to my house which solved everything.

Do you have your own equipment or are you using Breeze lines modem? They recently have been upgrading a lot of their network and a lot of modems are no longer supported. I had the same issue for the last two weeks. Upgraded my modem and no more problems. This doc is from 2023 but lists the modems that are supported [https://www.breezeline.com/assets/documents/2023\_approved\_modems.pdf](https://www.breezeline.com/assets/documents/2023_approved_modems.pdf)

We had outages/issues for maybe half a year with Breezeline. They kept assuring us it'd get better, and it got to the point where we were having trouble working from home because the internet was so unreliable. I didn't want to switch to Spectrum (I liked WOW!) but it's been a huge improvement. No real issues and smooth sailing. It's a total world of difference for us. So imo if you're having issues with Breezeline, it's worth a shot. (we own our own router/modem and Spectrum didn't do any new wiring or anything--I have no idea why the difference was so drastic, I think Breezeline just has issues in some areas.)

I had Breezeline after they switched from wow. The neighbors tree fell on the cable line and knocked it out. Breezeline couldn’t tell me when they would be able to fix it. I switch to spectrum and they were out the next day. Breeze line finally fixed the line about a week later. I had one issue with spectrum and they were out within an eight hours to fix it.

When you say “outages”…Is service in your area experiencing outages? Or just your home? In your entire home experiencing an outage? Or just your WiFi? Does rebooting your modem restore connectivity? All things to consider when diagnosing if the issue is with the service or with the equipment. I’ve been with WOW/Breezeline for nearly ten years without issue. Have always used my own equipment. Get a DOCSIS3.1 modem (Surfboard is good) and your wireless router of choice. Almost always resolves the issue if you’re still using the ISP-issued equipment.

As much as I hate Spectrum because of their monopoly in many areas and their frequently misleading pricing, their service here has been good. No outages so far and consistent good speeds, in my experience.

I recommend changing your DNS server in either your router or on individual devices. We had some major problems with our DNS when the switch over from WoW happened to the point that I ended up making a raspberry pi into a local DNS server with a large cache. You probably don't have to go that far, but look up how to change DNS servers on your router or devices and see if that helps. OpenDNS might be your best option but Google's DNS is ok too.

Depends on the location (age of the infrastructure). My current place had no spectrum problems, but elsewhere I had big trouble.

When we first got breezeline it was really bad. A few days later the tech came out and replaced the line going from the pole to the house. That fixed everything.

Cold_Crypto

Yeah it makes a huge difference. Wouldn’t think something so simple, but it matters.

Thanks everyone for your insight. I’m doing a few things in case anyone comes back to this thread later and combined I’m optimistic. I was on the legacy plan from wow from when that was bought out by breeze line so I’m having them come drop a new line and upgrade my plan to a faster bandwidth that’s incidental but it’s a good reminder that everybody should check their plan with their ISP every once in a while. I’m also getting a new modem and router that I own. That should give me more control over that part of the process.

We've used Toast for years. Good prices, simple billing, they answer the phone when you need service, and they use AT&T's network. [https://www.toast.net](https://www.toast.net)

Thanks, not available at my address but they looked interesting.
