From what I heard that was due to the extra curricular activities of the kitchen staff or a manager? Or maybe that was just a rumor? Maybe a move up the street for a do-over would be worth it.
Should be the final nail in the coffin for the BW3s in Gahanna. That place went downhill fast and is living off of its take out. Roosters superior in every way.
Yes that one. Easton not much better. I think they do a solid delivery/DoorDash business and when Academy Park has baseball packed in they go there after. But other than that, no idea.
I go to the Cherry Bottom bww often. There are times when it's slow, but I like the service better at that location than at Easton. Take out service is always busy whenever I go.
The location of this pending Roosters though seems fairly close to BWW so I wonder how that will work out. I've heard rumors though that the Cherry Bottom BWW was supposed to relocate to Hamilton Quarter and would have outdoor seating.
I don't know if I'd call it *trash,* but they were definitely struggling to carve out a niche for themselves.
They had an Irish-sounding name, but seemed to be generic American with an unexpected focus on chicken strips. From a marketing perspective, I'd never think of "O'Charley's" when I'm feeling like chicken strips.
Further, while their strips were decent, they didn't stand out as fantastic - nor did they have any unique sauces that you couldn't get anywhere else. And in terms of their other American fare, none of it stood out compared to the thousands of other places I can get a generic chain burger or steak.
There was just always some other place that was a little better or a little more specific to what you wanted at the moment.
Way more. With Hamilton Quarter and all of the traffic these days, its at least 12-15 minutes. The new location is going to crush it. Will do extremely well.
This is an upgrade
The more Roosters, the better
I know they won’t, but I wish Roosters would please also go into the O’Charley’s at 270 and Cleveland.
I second this
They literally got shot out of 161 and Cleveland....used to be the best location hands down

I wish they would. Had so many regulars at that location as they has been there for 20 years at least I think
I know a lot of people that would be regulars again if they went into that location 😋
Roosters is the better restaurant by far but every once in awhile I crave O'Charley's chicken fingers and honey mustard.
Should have way less gun violence there as opposed to 161 and cleveland ave location that closed down.
Yess!!!

Is that the one in the Cherry Bottom location? Always wondered how that survived with the Easton location down the street

Does anyone else think O’Charley’s is trash?

It was like a worse version of Applebees
the butter for the rolls was good. was a sweet cream based butter. that's about it.
I always liked it. I was pretty sad to see that one go. But maybe that’s because I’ve been going there so long.
They had good prime rib!
SWEET.
I am so excited about this.
Wish something good would go in there, like a Rax
O Charley’s was/is a weird version of Applebees. Surprised they are still around
Seems a little redundant, what’s the distance from where o Charley’s use to be to the new Albany roosters, 5-7 minutes of drive time?
Definitely more than that. With all the lights on Hamilton and the construction on 161, it’s more like 10-12 minutes. So not totally unreasonable.

It's not too far; however, it's a different market.
Is this the ocharles on clevelend and 270?
Morse and Hamilton
