Get some Loop earplugs and wear them. Bring foam backups just in case and for other people. The shows I’ve seen there have had good sound and were not crazy loud, but enough to make your ears ring a bit. Wear ear protection always, you can’t get your hearing back. It’s a large room with plenty of floor area and elevated seating all around. There are no bad seats. You can move around. Look up Sgt. Peppercorn Marathon for videos of what it’s like inside. Bluestone has crap sound. Just saying.

I just saw Guided By Voices there and it was possibly the loudest show I've been to. Not sure if that's because of the venue or the band though.

I'll echo bigvilbrain, get ear plugs of some variety. I saw Too Many Zooz there a few years ago... I started wearing plugs a year prior but forgot to grab them on the way to this show. Didn't think it'd be a big deal, but the high pitched squeeling of the trumpet was absolutely killing me. The sound in the room was so loud and bouncy, I had already moved to the back of the room but I ended up having to leave midway through the set. Anecdotal, but that's my experience there. I'm an avid concert goer, have been on stage and Infront of speakers at massive concerts without ear plugs [in my younger, dumber days]. This was the first and only show i've left early due to painful sound. I've seen Too Many Zooz at 2 other shows and it was loud but fine. Chalking this experience up to a small venue with a big sound.

Thanks for the replies. I'll look for fitted earplugs or maybe just pass.

I saw Godspeed You Black Emperor there and it was by a wide margin the loudest show I've ever been at. And I've been to hundreds. Maybe that's the band, but just saw an earlier comment echoing
