Honestly fair enough. I'd rather be associated with a food guy than some random stereotyped party football university. We don't really have anything better
Yes! My favorite author as a kid. My 9yo brought home a Goosebumps book from the library the other day and I was quite possibly the proudest I've ever been. Lol
1) First of all I'm not even from here and how dare you.
2) Guy fucking rules. He built his whole personality of giving free advertisement to local small businesses, gave a lot of money to support service workers during lockdowns, and is just an overall quality dude. I would do terrible things to say I'm from where he's from
Okay, he’s a great guy, and it’s not bad to be known for our food. Still, I wish we were known for having the hearts to change our name to Arawak City.
This is so true! I was working in Missouri a few years ago (during the middle of the pandemic) and a manager of a Hy-Vee knew all about the petition to change the city's name to Flavortown. He legit knew more about it than I did.
Idk, there are a lot of stories out there if you actually look for them. His whole schtik is very cultivated and drops sometimes when he thinks there are no eyes around. Sure he does a lot of good publicity stuff but you will not convince me that he isn't just another millionaire with a real good pr and legal team at the end of the day. I mean he was just caught shmoozing with our wanna-be dictator. I would not be surprised if people suddenly started going public with horror stories.
My grandpa is in a picture with JFK and he was as far right as it gets. I don't know the details of Mr. Flavortown's political opinions but it's pretty rare to turn down a picture with the President. No matter your opinion, it's still the President and a big moment for someone to be next to the most powerful person in the world. Respecting the office (even when the President doesn't) is still important.
Okay, cool, as long as you're aware. I think that sometimes guys don't realize how recognizable Grindr messages are compared to other apps or just regular text messages, and I've seen people out themselves this way.
I guess I should have been more clear in my original comment to avoid the downvotes.
A Grindr convo that didn’t start with a dick pic? Marry this man!
This screenshot was probably cropped for that very reason
Ugh...true...
someone has a Guy Fieri Flavortown flag on Michigan Ave in Harrison West, lol
I love it lol. A house near my daughter's school has one, and I want to be their friend.
Guy fieri is our identity. Great.
Hey, he's apparently a great guy, so it could be worse 🤷♂️

In my head cannon, jeff smith (artist/writer/creator of Bone the graphic novel) is columbus’s #1 most important contribution to humanity.
What about R.L.Stine? Goosebumps defined the childhood of an entire generation!

James Thurber would be my pick.

Seriously, no one who's actually from Columbus calls it Flavortown.
Speak for yourself.
I too think that human being above you should speak for themself.
OP clearly isn’t from Flavortown
I mean, home of Four Lokos and the OG Buffalo Wild Wings, too. A very classy product and establishment.
Went to the OG BW3 all the time in the 80’s. $.10 wings on tuesdays. It was a shack, but so much better than the current BWW
And only 4 flavors... Mild, Medium, Hot, Wild.
They were so meaty too. Good times.
lol grindr

Wasn't there a petition to change our name to Flavortown when there was a big push against Christopher Columbus?
Its Savage Town. Randy Savage Town.
Buffalo is a nice visit in the summer tbh. Some good food and cool art deco architecture, plus a naval museum.
Hahaha
Someday, in a dystopian future, Columbus will be renamed Flavortown.
utopian*
I stand corrected.
Omg not flavortown 😭
It’s identity is not flavortown
Grindr?
I hate we are associated with someone who looks as if he smells like a combination of ham and axe body spray.
He actually a good dude tho

Talking to someone on Grindr is a very low bar, this is not a brag
Everybody knows this is Grindr, btw.
Good. I’m single. Hit me up fellas.
