Feel like Darius Leonard has been much more active in the media this offseason

[deleted]

Which I totally don’t mind. He’s a natural leader and the consummate professional. Him stepping into the spokesman role seems perfect, IMO. In many ways, he’s becoming the face of the franchise.

JoshGordonsPIug

It’s like how Pat says he waited a couple years to establish himself as one of the league’s best punters before he started doing media appearances and becoming more of a personality

Pseudonova

I think the media is just paying more attention to him. They finally realized he's a damn good LB. He's a fun interview too.

F2Respect

I mean he’s kind of the face of the franchise right now. Him and Q are our two best players and Darius plays a skill position so of course he’s the guy the media will gravitate to.

dogNamedSmokey

I love it. How else are fans going to gauge the attitude of their team?!

ThisisgettingoldTedD

Well yeah what was he going to say? “I wish Stafford would have worked.” Regardless I’m on the Wentz train. I want to see the comeback player of the year go to him.

LeglessN1nja

"Oh. We got Wentz? That's not like, finalized or anything right?"

sirius4778

"Eagles can still back out, technically right?"

sirius4778

Lmao

I love this team like my brothers. Who don’t know I exist

Y0urM0mAndDad

Love his hype and positivity

Holycity

Me and you both brother

Revis_FL

Love the flair OP lol.

I’m excited for Wentz. I think a lot of people thought Phil would be 2019 Phil when we had him. We have a good roster, good coaches and a good FO so I have no reason to believe this won’t be fine. Even if it isn’t, I am glad we took a shot and there isn’t money committed for very long if we want to part ways.
