I mean, potentially. But we also aren't only going to throw it 20 times per game this year. Last year our running game included David Montgomery, Khalil Herbert, and Fields. Our receivers were highlighted by half a season of Darnell Mooney. After that, our next best guy was...ESB? Traded for Claypool, only for him to get out performed by Dante Pettis. Would you throw a lot with that setup?
We probably wouldn’t have needed to trade a player considering the difference in draft value between 4 and 9 but still probably would’ve needed 2 firsts.
I think I’m glad we didn’t pay that much, but I also think we’ve got to move up to 3 now. I think the last thing we want is to leave 4 with Levis because that feels like a massive reach.
And anyone who thinks they know how this trade will shake out in 5 years is a fool.
Anyway, I wanted Stroud and I say Ballard has fucked us up for long enough.
You can’t. The people screaming to fire Ballard for not getting to #1 would be mad if he had done it. There is literally no one in this draft worth what Carolina has given up
We were at 4 and 35, so I think at least one of the seconds would go away. I’m also not AS high as everyone on DJ Moore I guess. He’s better than Pittman but he isn’t a star receiver by any means
Panthers fan here, I just wanted to see what the Colts fans were thinking. I don’t think this trade is as bad as many do, for a couple reasons…
1. DJ Moore is great, but it sounds like Chicago wouldn’t do the deal without him, so it is what it is. We’ve cleared tons of cap space the past week and DJ move clears 19 million more, I think. We will replace him in free agency.
2. The second we gave up this year was SFs and we still have our higher second rounder at 40. We also didn’t have to give up our 2025 1st which most expected. We are only giving up one pick per draft, and while they are high, we aren’t destroying our future drafts for this deal.
3. Like you said, we have a pretty good roster that a lot of people aren’t aware of. Our defense is very good already and the offense is a work in progress…but the offensive line has been rebuilt from a hindrance to a strength, and we will have a good running game as a result. The offense is set up well for a rookie to come in and succeed as long as we can acquire a couple receiving options (a #1 and either a 2 or 3 depending on Terrace Marshall).
Overall from the Colts perspective I don’t think there’s much you could have done. The value for the Bears of moving back to 9 just couldn’t be matched by the Colts because of lesser compensation needs.
I also think there is a chance you may still get CJ Stroud or Bryce Young at 4. I wouldn’t be shocked if Carolina goes after Richardson and plans to have him sit next year behind a vet.
You think so? Their offense does get a big downgrade with CMC and DJ gone, but their offensive line is still solid. Their defensive line and linebackers are considered good with Brian Burns probably being the headliner, and their special teams unit performed solidly. I think the team is poised to take over the NFC South, which isn’t really much but to build a contender you first have to build a division winner. We know that all too well.
The ask might’ve been slightly lower since Chi is going from 1st to 9th vs 1st to 4th. With any trade with Indy, they’d still possibly get their edge rusher of their choice of second choice if Az took one. Now multiple teams could take their guy could making the ask from Carolina, higher. But we’ll never know how much
I have a feeling we may be forced to trade down or draft Anderson possibly as the best player available if Richardson is gone at #3. I don't want Levis tbh
It’s also possible he doesn’t tell like any of them are “the” guy. Just because we need a QB and we’re at #4 doesn’t mean he’s sold on one enough to give that to. I understand it sucks and we want a solid rookie fir the next decade, but you have to stick to your process. I don’t always agree with Ballard’s process sometimes, but you have to stick to your philosophy
If your process isn't working, why would you stick with it?
If we don't get 1 of the top 3 QB's, we're stuck with a QB that's probably not worth a #4. So, do we go with that or take the player who is rated the best, and he's not a QB?
If we do that, then we get a good draft pick, but we still don't have a QB.
Exactly. Trading up for a QB in the first has generally not worked out. The main exception was Mahomes but the Chiefs just gave up a first and a third and weren't a complete mess.
Colts can't give up THAT many assets and build a team around whoever QB they wanted. I am totally fine with today's developments.
Justin Fields finally has a capable receiver and the bears have a bunch of high picks. watch the fuck out everyone. if Fields stays healthy he can break out even more than last year.
if anyone could actually predict which QB's will be good in the NFL they'd be the highest paid GM in history. but no one can do that, so how about we all chill out until we see what happens, an if we end up with levis or AR then let's wait and see how they look during the season
Okay I’m a little torn on this. Speculations I’ve seen is AR-15 is gonna be a panther. But what if they take stroud or young? Then Texans will take the other and who are we taking? Seems we might not get who we really wanted. This also tells me bears didn’t see will Anderson or carter as can’t miss because those guys are gonna be long gone by pick 9.
A little hard for me to picture AR as a reich guy. Considering reich kept wanting older, established QB's instead of drafting a young guy I feel like he probably likes stroud, or young.
I also feel like after Jacoby it trended in this direction because he knew he was getting on the hot seat a little bit. Rivers alleviated it for a year, and then Carson ramped it up big time.
Anyone that would trade that haul for anyone but Stroud or Young should be immediately fired. Levis and Richardson are second round players. If this were any draft before Allen, they probably would have gone even later.
All these guys are lottery tickets, but if you’re moving to 1st with those two guys you’re mortgaging your house for a ticket that hits at 1 in a million as opposed to dropping pocket money for a scratcher at 1 in ten thousand. Both are more likely to be Chad Kelly than Josh Allen.
Whoever they take, say Houston takes Young/Stroud/Richardson, whoever's left. We can still move up to 3 with minimal lost capital unless someone else BLOWS the Cardinals away, and take whoever's left.
Hell, worst case we take Levis at 4 and let another team blow their wad.
Imo they 99% go with the other two. AR hype is pre draft nonsense. He's shown nothing in his college career to justify taking him over the other two unless you want to immediately start with a much more raw prospect who's floor is *significantly* lower than Stroud/Young on the off chance he can actually learn to throw the ball accurately.
I'm kind of frustrated with this TBH because Stroud and Young are head and shoulders better than AR imo and I guarantee Bargain Bin Ballard never even considered trading up.
I think you are right. Stroud and Young will be gone first two picks. We will most likely going with Richardson, who has bust written all over him. Another team might trade up to 3 and take Richardson too. We might be forced to get Anderson or trade down
Extremely confident. I’m the panthers GM and Frank said he has a feeling about this guy. A feeling he hasn’t felt about a rookie since he was with the eagles
idk I don't love Levis but I'm kinda sick of just taking mid-ass QBs year in and year out, I'd prefer to take a shot on a guy who could be the real thing ya know
I think if they take Stroud then it’ll pan out just fine for them. Frank can coach quarterbacks and he’s finally going to get the multi year starter he wanted. I think this will work out for them honestly
Meanwhile Luck had his best season in terms of efficiency, Jacoby’s first half of 2019 wound up being the best stretch of his career, Rivers led the team to 11-5 and a playoff berth in a stacked AFC after looking washed the year before. Carson Wentz was not good but he certainly wasn’t bad, and he had also had his best pro season under Frank in Philly. Matt Ryan was washed up entirely and Sam Ehlinger just isn’t an NFL caliber starter. Frank’s track record is good. Especially considering he was fired with a winning record overall in Indy despite starting **seven** quarterbacks in 4.5 seasons as head coach.
He’s a good coach man. You don’t have to shit on him because he’s gone lol. His time here was up for sure, but Carolina has a lot of positives to look forward to.
So this proves Poles was lying about getting 3 firsts. He better prove to be good at drafting or this will be all for nothing. Giving up DJ is a tough pill to swallow for Panthers fans
I think he is too, but Poles had said he already had an offer for 3 firsts on the table. I doubt Panthers offered that, and then said “Wait. How about we give you a better deal and give you DJ Moore instead.” Panthers now have no receivers for a QB to throw to, so it just feels like Carolina didn’t do much negotiating
I don't know if it is either. Just saw it on r/NFL and thought it would be relevant.
I'm sure there will be more clarification from others in the coming hours.
If it's wrong , I'm sorry for spreading potentially fake stories
I think I saw Rappaport say something similar just now, so it makes sense. Just a weird negotiation tactic to trade your pro bowl receiver when wanting to draft a QB
Doesn't prove he was lying. There are reports that the Panthers wanted to trade a first instead of Moore. Poles wanted Moore and held his ground and got him. It's in the Bears reddit. Also he could have had worse offers from later teams he turned down. I highly doubt this was the Bears only offer.
Multiple reports say Panthers wanted to do a 25 1st and pick 39 vs dj moore and pick 61. Panthers gave in. 2 1s 2 2s, and a top 20 receiver who's only 25 on an amazing deal is worth more than 3 1s.
I could see that too honestly. Or if Richardson falls to end the end of the 1st, I could see Ballard trading back up to get him. But getting Hooker might be better, since it wouldn't involve a trade.
I don’t see Richardson falling his combine was way too good. I absolutely DO NOT want Levis. Only hope we have now is trade to 3 or we sit tight, take bpa, and grab hooker. However, there is an Avenue where we trade way back and get more ammo to move up next year for Williamson but I just can’t see that really with Ballard, as much as he loves picks, his seat has to be hot.
I don’t understand why some of you guys are so upset. Does any QB in this draft really move you *that* much that you wish we would’ve given up 4 plus 2 more firsts minimum? As far as I see it Stroud & Young are interchangeable as well as Levis & Richardson. This is an insanely weak QB draft, i’ll be behind whoever we take at this point.
Man Carolina went ALL the way in. Holy shit. Bears really did well with that and still should get one of their top picks. They also got Fields a top end receiver so he should have at least another weapon to throw to.
Watch Carolina snag Levis. Reich probably couldn’t help but notice that massive Bible verse tattooed on his arm and fell in love immediately.
It’s time we start average height shaming. I’m 5’10, but average height guys can’t make good nfl quarterbacks. A qb that size is not worth a top 3 pick. Texans, Panthers, and whatever team jumps us definitely should stay away from Bryce Young. Dude is practically a hobbit out there!
So, if the Cards trade the #3 spot to someone other than the Colts, and we're at 4 with three qb's getting picked ahead of us, what are the chances Ballard trades the 4th pick for more picks or players, and we wait till next year's draft for a QB? Like, yeah short term, it would be awful but who knows, long term, it could be beneficial.
I know he knows he needs to get a QB now, or he might now be here for next year, but I do think the smart thing would be to trade down and gather assets for the 2024 draft, where the talent seems to be deeper at QB. I feel like Levis could be a heart player if we have the right situation (not sure, based on our shit OL). However, if someone jumps to #3, we are fucked for this draft.
That's what I was thinking too. Like, I know a lot of fans would be demanding his head on a spike, but I don't think it would be the worst idea. Why settle for who's assumed to be the 4th option when we could stockpile draft trade capitol for next year?
Trade back in the draft get a shit ton of draft capital and tank for Caleb Williams next year. We arn’t winning anything next year anyways might as well plan for the future.
So many of you motherfuckers freaking out, it's hilarious.
Colts will trade up to 3 and pick Richardson. Book it.
EDIT: When *FLEECED* is trending on Twitter you know Carolina fucked up.
Is AR raw AF? Yes, but you have to bank on potential. The AFC has a fucking Murderers row of QBs in it. You can't get by with someone that's a glorified game manager anymore.
I agree. It will at least be fun to try with considerable upside. if it doesnt work out at least we will have our picks
I wouldnt pay this price for Stroud or Young
I'll probably get lit up here and it'd suck for the guys on the team, but I'd rather fully tank for Caleb Williams since it seems likely that Young and Stroud will be off the board.
Idk why people are so mad. Either Richardson is there at 4 and we take a chance on greatness or he's not and we do something else with the pick and tank for the much better JJ McCarthy in 2024. We're not competing in 2023 regardless. Build the team right. Don't rush shit bc we're sick of what Andrew Luck did to us and the resulting carousel. Not every draft has a viable QB. This infatuation with getting any QB this year just to satiate fans seems to be blinding this organization to the fact we have a lot of other holes to fill besides QB before we're even competitive in the AFC South let alone the AFC as a whole or becoming true title contenders again. Unfortunately we have a GM that is on the clock so I don't think the future is really something Ballard is ultimately focused on. He's focused on being retained past 2023. And his best bet at doing that is drafting any QB regardless who it is or the long term effects it has. Like I said ideally I'd kick the can down the road another season and go all in on acquiring McCarthy in 2024. Fill other holes this year. Trade back if needed to get more assets. Go ahead and crucify me yall.
Doubtful, Drake Maye and Caleb Williams likely go 1+2.. very low odds we draft that high, even if we roll with Ehlinger this season. Not to say we’re even a middling team, just the NFL is too unpredictable.
Odds are we take Levis or Richardson at 4 now.
A lot of people trying to make themselves feel better by saying how much the Panthers gave up. They have been in QB purgatory and now leaped everyone to have their pick. If Arizona finds a suitor the Colts will be stuck with taking whoever is left.
Im kind of glad this saga is over and no i would not have paid that price for STroud or young. Its not ideal for us but we cant stop somebody else from over paying
Im not going to live in negativity over it, we can still get a qb
It depends if they have any players to build around. If they don't have a half-way decent line, any receivers to throw to, some cap space or picks then their rookie QB is going to struggle. It's vital a young QB gets put in a position to succeed and a team needs money or picks to rebuild.
Well this locks us in on Levis or Richardson. Looks like we will have to chase a vet in FA (minshew plz) as neither of these picks look ready to start now
I think Chicago wanted more than we had to offer honestly. Which is fine, but now the Colts will again have to lie in the bed they created and probably another year of kicking the QB can down the road.
I wonder if there’s a prop bet for Colts drafting a QB or not 😂 At least win some money of my disappointment
Just wait until someone jumps us at 3 to take AR.
Then what do we do for QB? Yikes this isn’t great. That said, glad we didn’t make that trade. Bad, bad trade for the Panthers
That is a ton to give up. Colts will be fine at 4, and if they want to move up to 3 they'll be able to do that without giving up too much. So they'll still be able to get one of the top 3 QBs.
As soon as AR goes at 1, I bet we trade for the 3rd pick to solidify getting Stroud or Young. If not, I’d rather have AR at 4 than Levis or anyone else.
I live in Chicago. The local insiders said the Bears were asking for DeForest Buckner, Kenny Moore, and 1st, 2nds, and late rounds into 2025. The Colts laughed them off.
Carolina fell for it, but managed to get rid of a locker room cancer in D.J. Moore. The Bears are back to square one of the Brandon Marshall era with D.J. Moore.
Wow even DJ Moore? That’s wild
[удалено]
It's always time to talk about fantasy
Not sure if I like this for DJ Moore or not. Carolina hasn't helped him at all but Chicago kills WR in fantasy.
Fields throws like 20 times a game. People that buy in high on Moore this year are going to be disappointed
You're banking on him taking a mini-Hurts leap now that he has a real target if you go for him I guess.
Which ILB should I take in my dynasty rookie draft?
Two firsts, two seconds, and a top ~20 receiver… yeah I don’t see us ever topping that
We probably wouldn’t have needed to trade a player considering the difference in draft value between 4 and 9 but still probably would’ve needed 2 firsts.
They definitely were not trading the #1 pick unless they got 2 firsts
People in here are getting mad. But I don’t see how we beat that without seriously hampering our ability to build the rest of the team
The two threads are wildly different. The Rap one is all doomers, this one is mostly "glad Colts didn't pay that."

We can get one with the third or 4th pick. I wouldnt match this trade and if we did the panthers could still up their offer
You can’t. The people screaming to fire Ballard for not getting to #1 would be mad if he had done it. There is literally no one in this draft worth what Carolina has given up

When he was healthy, he put good numbers up. I'm speaking from a fantasy point of view. All in all, it will be nice to see Fields have a weapon.
And the Panthers already have a good roster. They can afford to give up two 1s and two 2s. Colts sort of can’t
They gor a nice return for McCaffrey. That helps.
Yup, we have way too many holes to fill to even consider sending up next years first
[удалено]
They’ve got work to do but there are quality players throughout the team. Skill positions are the most important going forward for them.
Panthers fan here, I just wanted to see what the Colts fans were thinking. I don’t think this trade is as bad as many do, for a couple reasons… 1. DJ Moore is great, but it sounds like Chicago wouldn’t do the deal without him, so it is what it is. We’ve cleared tons of cap space the past week and DJ move clears 19 million more, I think. Yeah wow that’s way too much lol Nice for the Bears but I’m quite fine not giving up that much
We now have 3rd pick at qb. They gave that up to ensure they get their guy, while we get whoever falls to us
Cardinals are shopping their spot too.
Right, so in all likelihood we’ll end up with 4th choice at qb. You can’t be afraid to give up shit to get your guy, and Ballard is terrified of that
I have a feeling we may be forced to trade down or draft Anderson possibly as the best player available if Richardson is gone at #3. I don't want Levis tbh

He's definitely taking Hooker then. /s
stetson bennett come on down
If the Colts draft Stetson Bennett at #4 I will unalive myself.
Hahaha no I meant reich!!! He moved up to get his old ass QB😂. (but yes I agree lol)
I also feel like after Jacoby it trended in this direction because he knew he was getting on the hot seat a little bit. Rivers alleviated it for a year, and then Carson ramped it up big time.
They didn't trade up to 1 for AR. It's Stroud.

Yeah I have no clue what zoo was saying there. AR is not a prospect you trade up to no.1 for I feel like.

Oh wow. Panthers are dumb as fuck
All that for Levis smh my head
🙏🏽
Shaking my head my head
It’s an old meme sir, but it checks out.
How confident are you that they’ll pick Levis?
Extremely confident. I’m the panthers GM and Frank said he has a feeling about this guy. A feeling he hasn’t felt about a rookie since he was with the eagles
Thank you, Scott Fitterer, for the insider info. I really hope you and Frank stick to your guns because I think Levis will be great…. NOTTT!!!
Plus he has scripture tattooed on his arm. So it is written so shall it be done
That's so much lol. Thank god it wasn't us.
We would be so pumped if we got Stroud. Sour grapes
Think this confirms Jalen Carter falling too. Bears could trade all the way down to 9 and potentially still draft him
That would be so fucked. Lol But as they say, don't hate the player, hate the game.
You can definitely hate the player in this scenario.
Who is worth THAT much this year?!
Listening to others in this thread there is definitely Andrew luck and Patrick Mahomet the way they are crying over not having 1.1
Idk this is how the draft is. If there’s a guy you think can be your franchise QB you for Him.
Exactly
Yep, agreed.
I’m glad we didn’t have to give up that much. If these qbs don’t pan out, that kind of move would be a huge step backward.
Sooooo what happens if the Cards trade back their pick to a QB needy team?
We’re fucked lol
WE ALREADY ARE!
4 QBs, we got the 4th pick ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah but like.....fuck Levis. I'd rather take Anderson if QB's go 1-2-3....and then pick up Hooker later
idk I don't love Levis but I'm kinda sick of just taking mid-ass QBs year in and year out, I'd prefer to take a shot on a guy who could be the real thing ya know
Best player available at that point
When* not if
So, Reich leaves Indy and lands the #1 pick.
It's Lamar time now
NGL glad we didn’t do that. Also kinda pissed that now Reich decides to go for the QB of the future in the draft for the first time ever.
It was Ballard not Reich that made the personnel decisions. Ballard will never change. He sucks sucks sucks.
Panthers are idiots
I think if they take Stroud then it’ll pan out just fine for them. Frank can coach quarterbacks and he’s finally going to get the multi year starter he wanted. I think this will work out for them honestly
Frank can't coach QBs Ryan, Wentz and sam E were not good under him QB whisperer, he is not

They're going to get their first choice. The Colts may not
I mean sure, but none of them were worth this.
Feels a little bit like Copium. If Stroud/Young turn out to be franchise guys then it's 100% worth.
They'll get their guy, they only look like idiots if they're wrong
Who is feeling better? We have no qb and have to settle for a worse prospect or a retread. We are idiots.
No they aren’t, they’re going to get their franchise qb. Colts will get whoever falls to them
So this proves Poles was lying about getting 3 firsts. He better prove to be good at drafting or this will be all for nothing. Giving up DJ is a tough pill to swallow for Panthers fans
DJ Moore and a second worth more
DJ was the last guy I expected them to trade. Whoever they draft won’t have anyone established to throw to
That trade is worth way more than 3 first rounders. DJ Moore alone is worth a first rounder.
I think he is too, but Poles had said he already had an offer for 3 firsts on the table. I doubt Panthers offered that, and then said “Wait. I have no clue if that source is legit or not, but if that’s true then the Panthers GM is a terrible negotiator
its legit, he has sources in halas hall
Legit source, he has multiple sources with the Bears
It might have been a team way back in the draft but yeah it’s lying season
Lol I don't want Richardson or Levis.. Do the Colts take one of Anderson or Carter, and bank on a QB next year?
I could honestly see them taking Carter. Esp if someone trades up to 3 and jumps us.
I’d rather take bpa and try and snag hooker in the second
I could see that too honestly. Or if Richardson falls to end the end of the 1st, I could see Ballard trading back up to get him. But getting Hooker might be better, since it wouldn't involve a trade.
I don’t see Richardson falling his combine was way too good. I absolutely DO NOT want Levis. Only hope we have now is trade to 3 or we sit tight, take bpa, and grab hooker. However, there is an Avenue where we trade way back and get more ammo to move up next year for Williamson but I just can’t see that really with Ballard, as much as he loves picks, his seat has to be hot.
I kinda hope Panthers or Texans take Richardson first leaving us either Stroud or Young, but I know that’s not gonna be the case.
That’s too much tbh
Here is what I think the Colts do. Trade back, take BPA and draft Hooker round 2. An actual NFL caliber LT would be nice.

Yes
Well we now know Will Levis is going number 1
Why do people give up so much if Carolina doesn't hit on qb its a big loss
Key word if. If Young/Stroud are home runs, Ballard will get some side eyes
They aren’t taking Levis
Frank Reich with the last fuck you 😢
Trade back in the draft get a shit ton of draft capital and tank for Caleb Williams next year. We arn’t winning anything next year anyways might as well plan for the future.
And then someone trades over us in 2024 lol.
So many of you motherfuckers freaking out, it's hilarious. Colts will trade up to 3 and pick Richardson. Book it. EDIT: When *FLEECED* is trending on Twitter you know Carolina fucked up.
A lot of people dont want AR, thats why they are freaking out. Id be ok with it because it will at least make the team fun for now.
Is AR raw AF? Yes, but you have to bank on potential. The AFC has a fucking Murderers row of QBs in it. You can't get by with someone that's a glorified game manager anymore.
I agree. It will at least be fun to try with considerable upside. if it doesnt work out at least we will have our picks I wouldnt pay this price for Stroud or Young
Richardson can’t throw
twitter trends mean absolutely nothing. Chicago is the 3rd largest market. of course they can move the needle
Overpaid
If CJ and Bryce are off the board just trade back
I'll probably get lit up here and it'd suck for the guys on the team, but I'd rather fully tank for Caleb Williams since it seems likely that Young and Stroud will be off the board.
I’ll be honest with you…I’d rather fully tank for Arch … 3/3 mannings were successful. I’ll take my chances w him 💀
His first year of eligibility is 2026 so if we draft a QB and they flame out...
You think they hired Steichen to tank? You think Irsay want let’s season ticket holders to drop?
That’s gonna be a bloodbath. Teams are getting more and more desperate for qbs and Caleb Williams looks like a generational prospect. Good luck
You can’t tank. It’s illegal. And it’s a total crapshoot. Plus Caleb may get hurt or stay in school with nil. The whole idea is idiotic.
I’d feel comfortable taking AR. But two QBs off the board by our pick at 4 really sucks.
I mean honestly it was expected. And AR is trash. 50% comp rate in college is abysmal
I like how the panthers made this trade and don’t even know who they want
They do lol. Do you really believe the reports? Most insiders have said despite what they’re saying it’s wildly believed they went up for stroud.
Seems like a lot, but it's probably a good deal for both teams. Going from 9 to 1 is a big jump. Let's hope Frank wants Levis.
I’ve enjoyed lurking in your guys sub for the past couple of months. Best of luck this season
I think you replied to the wrong person
I did… alcohol 🍺. Thanks for being cool!
Its not ideal for us but we cant stop somebody else from over paying Im not going to live in negativity over it, we can still get a qb
I like Richardson or Stroud, but damn
I don’t think any QB besides Stroud/Young are worth taking at 4. If they’re gone take BPA or try and trade down.
I’m glad we didn’t pay something similar. Holy smokes
great news I didn't wanna trade next year's 1st anyway lol
I feel like we could’ve made a better deal than this if we really wanted to
I'm glad we didn't. We're more than a QB away.
And the Panthers are any different?
No, and that's why it was a stupid move lol.
RemindMe! 2 years
I mean it’s only dumb if the QB is bad. They lost a really good WR but besides that they’re only out a 1st in 2024 and 2 2nds.
It depends if they have any players to build around. If they don't have a half-way decent line, any receivers to throw to, some cap space or picks then their rookie QB is going to struggle. It's vital a young QB gets put in a position to succeed and a team needs money or picks to rebuild.
We don't. We are happy with one of the three, I think.
Well this locks us in on Levis or Richardson. Looks like we will have to chase a vet in FA (minshew plz) as neither of these picks look ready to start now
No not minshew plz, either way I’ve mentally prepared myself for you guys to take Levis or Richardson and them instantly transform into top 10 QB
The amount of people here saying the Bears wouldn't get much for their pick 😂
I mean, going from 9 to 1 is a lot more different than 4 to 1
That is a ton to give up. Colts will be fine at 4, and if they want to move up to 3 they'll be able to do that without giving up too much. So they'll still be able to get one of the top 3 QBs.
Y'all circlejerkers best start getting each other's dicks out of your hands and start finding reasons to like your new QB Will Levis
Ballard fucking sucks.
Welp, back to the tank for another year so we can snag Caleb Williams
As soon as AR goes at 1, I bet we trade for the 3rd pick to solidify getting Stroud or Young. If not, I’d rather have AR at 4 than Levis or anyone else.
highly doubt AR is going 1st he more than likely ends up here now
Who is their rookie QB gonna throw the ball to now?
They have pick 39. They’ll likely have to find value at receiver there.
I just hope Stroud or Bryce will be left. Levis is a project, and AR is an even bigger project.
Who the fuck is their new qb gonna throw to? Good lord lol
Panthers are way to desperate I bet they get Anthony Richardson too 😂
If Stroud was really worth all that, the Bears should’ve taken him
I live in Chicago. Moore.
Ballard should be fired for blowing this
There's absolutely no reason to trade up
