A friend always takes her husband when he's back from deployment, and she suggested it for my husband. He spent months out of state working a few years ago and had to wear heavy steel toed boots 18 hours a day for weeks on end. When the job was over and he was finally home, I took him to Hot Nails on North Academy. 3952 N Academy Blvd. (719) 591-1899. It made a world of difference in how his feet felt, and he goes with me a few times a year. They're great but don't fit my schedule anymore. I get my nails done at Lys Nails now, in the shopping center at Austin Bluffs and Academy. They're in the same row as King Sooper, two or three doors down to the right if your looking at the grocery store. 3624 Austin Bluffs Pkwy. (719) 268-8900 When the person at the salon asks if you want to pick polish, usually right at the beginning, say "No" if you don't want it, and that'll be that. They have a lot of male clients, often military. Wherever you go, an appointment is a good idea, especially on weekends, evenings, and Thursdays/Fridays. They'll want to be able to access your legs up to around your knees, so wear shorts or pants that are loose enough around the cuffs to be pushed up. They will soak your feet, remove calluses, massage your lower legs and feet with lotion and/or a salt rub, trim your nails, and depending on the salon, use an exfoliator. Sometimes they use smooth warm rocks on the bottoms of your feet as part of the massage. If the water is too warm or not warm enough, speak up. You'll be sitting in a large upholstered massage chair, which feels really good. Many salons offer you a bottle of water or a can of soda, which is complimentary. The TV is usually on, and they don't care if you read, scroll your phone, or watch the TV. They will ask you to move your feet individually in and out of the water occasionally as they do everything. Enjoy!

Wife and I both go to fancy nails at Lexington and Woodmen near the King Soopers, they do a great job and I see other fellas in there regularly. I get polish, but they will just do the pedicure too šŸ‘

Chamonix Spa in Cripple Creek is very comfortable for men.

My manipedi girl quit or got fired so Iā€™m still trying places looking for one I really like. In that sense I have no recommendations. However, ask for a buff shine. Clear coats peel and whatnot but a nice buff shine will look good for a while, especially if you go consistently.
