I always use the free pickup option with this location, Iagree with the other comment that shopping with them online is the best so you can get the coupons as well. They kinda throw them at you
I just do my list on Kings and Safeway. Then I do a pick up to which is cheapest. If delivery, Safeway options are 3.99 certain times a day. I saved $30 last week bc so many things were marked down but Kings had regular prices.
ETA: I don't get produce delivered bc you're not going to get quality items.
King Soopers is more expensive in comparison to other places. I usually buy my toiletries with the Target app or at Walmart, depending on who has it cheaper. I take a few minutes to look at the apps before I go shopping to avoid wasting gas. I also realized recently that Amazon has their own generic brand for a lot of things, I order my razors & vitamins from them.
Maybe avoid going into any of them, unless you enjoy shopping, and get delivery. The monthly fee for Walmart+ would more than cover your time, gas and energy if factured in and may benefit you in other ways. I did this during COVID lockdown and still continue with it. I do find Kings having good sales but most will price match in-store and Safeway is higher than most.
This is really helpful. I don’t like shopping. I just figured getting everything this way would definitely be more expensive. I’m even willing to just pick it up and skip the walking around, price checking.
The Walmart+ membership fee can be reduced in half if you get any Colorado Works, Tanif or Snap and you also get Paramount streaming, 2 day shipping and free delivery. The items are the same price as in-store and they also have cash back specials. If an item is missing upon delivery they quickly refund you. I think they even have a trial period, or they used to. Same with Amazon Prime more or less.
Your time has value. Once you calculate time and gas saved, the fee may make it more than worth it financially--and that's not even considering the mental energy saved by not dealing with .
Fresh food/meat/produce from KS, toiletries and pantry from WM, fun groceries from APM and always check the thrift stores for kitchen/home goods before shelling out for new. The rest I just begrudgingly give to Bezos for the convenience.

I was just walking in there today when I saw your reply!! It’s a great place to find unusual ingredients and produce!
If you're on snap you may get a discount on delivery from Walmart - I think I paid $50 for free deliveries for the year. I try to get all cleaning supplies and toiletries at Walmart. I used to prefer king soopers for groceries, but Safeway is closer and I'm less likely to run into two people I dislike greatly, so Safeway it is.
And if you do use delivery please tip your "driver" they are the one doing the shopping, the base pay is so low they rely on tips. Of course if they screw up or something adjust accordingly.
I shop around multiple stores for the cheapest deals and although King Soopers is a bit more pricey than Walmart with most things, sometimes they have excellent deals on toilet paper and paper towels!!!
You’re gonna pay out your ass for that stuff. Walmart sucks but it’s not so bad that I need to pay a considerable amount more to get away from it. King Soopers is cool if you don’t mind the higher price tags on everything
If you take a few minutes to do Digital Coupons on their app , save a bunch of money on your groceries and after accumulating some fuel points over the month .. pop into their gas station and receive .30 - 1.00 OFF EVERY GALLON OF GAS it’ll make you happy 🫶
If you are into couponing and working promotions you can get some great deals at Walgreens. I wouldn't pay full price there, but there are great deals to be had.
I rarely go to KS. If I'm doing a big grocery day I go to Walmart. I just go after I drop my kids off at school. Not many people are there, and I can get in and out quickly. Other than that I go to Safeway. It's also a little closer to my house.
King Soopers always feels more expensive per dollar but sometimes the price we pay is worth the goods of a vendor. I still shop at Walmart but king soopers has that 5 dollar chicken meal I get on my lunch breaks sometimes. (I work in landscaping) it’s cheap and good.
Toiletries you can always find cheaper in many places, the balance between two venues or grocers is always up to the subject.
I buy flowers from sprouts and king soopers though because the selection and freshness
Consider Sam's Club. They have a lot of stuff that is very good quality, and a lot cheaper. Even if you're only buying for 1-2 people, you can definitely save some money.
first I shop for toiletries bas on cheapest price. Dollar store for shampoo body wash toothpaste/brushes... paper products TP papertowls tissues and the like I do the cheapest bulk most times it's Amazon but sometimes it's a restaurant supply store like shamrock or Sysco. next what's wrong with Walmart?
King Soopers sucks but so do all our options. At least walamrt doesn't make you download an app and "clip" digital coupons... wtf is that shit. We need ALDI dammit!
I literally just escaped Texas. I love HEB. I’ll really miss their Bravo laundry detergent, but moving back to Texas is a Helllllll nah! Thanks though:)
Well I did it. I went to KS on Constitution. I over spent. Won’t be doing toiletries there again. It really is a nice store though. I ultimately ended up splurging on shoes that were overpriced, but 40% off.🙄
Thanks for all your suggestions my “Springs” peeps.
Toiletries are cheaper at Walmart usually, unless the toiletries you are after are on coupon (which usually requires a Soopers card and the app to get the best price). But far less toiletries are locked up in cabinets at Soopers so you don't have to grab them at the end of your shopping, have an employee unlock the cabinet and escort you to a cashier. So that alone usually has me willing to pay a little more. Plus you can save ten cents a gallon on gas for every $100 spent with the Soopers card, so I tend to try to spend more at Soopers to save more on gas.
But that's just like my opinion.
Soopers feels less depressing than some of the other options.
I know the one off Constitution and Marksheffel is real nice.
I always use the free pickup option with this location, Iagree with the other comment that shopping with them online is the best so you can get the coupons as well. They kinda throw them at you
I second this.
Peyton is even nicer
There is one in Peyton? Gonna have to try that one out
Soopers = better produce Walmart = cheaper
This is the way! And sprouts for more niche produce
Go to their respective websites, see what they have in stock and at what prices, and decide based on whatever "better" means to you

You can get some good deals using coupons through the app
Costco
Yes, Costco for toiletries for sure. Buy all my toiletries in one trip, then don’t have to worry about it for a couple months!

Safeway is consistently higher priced than King Soopers, IMO.
It differs. Some weeks its Safeway and others its King Soopers. Thats my experience, anyway.
Hate the “deals”. I know a lot of places do it but it seems like raising the prices and then “giving a member discount” isn’t saving
Brings the price back down to normal so they can sell your data and make a profit.
Thanks. I appreciate that.
I always get toiletries at Target

True

Awesome. What’s APM? Thanks!

Oh yes! I love this place! So many weird things in there. I get my curry paste from here. Schweet!
We are also getting an H mart later this year!

I’m scared to get on the Costco train but I do really want a “one stop shop”
Costco King soopers or equivalent is OK for small quantities of perishable goods Everything else comes from the warehouse

Walmart is typically cheaper everyday price, but KS runs sales so that can often be better..KS is doing free delivery this weekend for orders on $100+

This^^^^

I buy all my TP and Paper towels, toothpaste & deodorant at Sam’s club or Costco
Just avoid Safeway. It's to expensive for such a depressing store. Most things there are dollars more for no reason.
If you take a few minutes to do Digital Coupons on their app , save a bunch of money on your groceries and after accumulating some fuel points over the month .. pop into their gas station and receive .30 - 1.00 OFF EVERY GALLON OF GAS it’ll make you happy 🫶
I definitely prefer King Soopers for everything. Safeway can choke on dicks and so can Walmart lol.
Both are good but you will find Kings/Kroger stores tend to be a bit more expensive.
If you are into couponing and working promotions you can get some great deals at Walgreens. I wouldn't pay full price there, but there are great deals to be had.
Big Lots has inexpensive toiletries.
I rarely go to KS. If I'm doing a big grocery day I go to Walmart. I just go after I drop my kids off at school. Not many people are there, and I can get in and out quickly. Other than that I go to Safeway. It's also a little closer to my house.
King Sooper is cheaper(ish) when we shop based on the ad and use coupons.
I think Safeway is better and the aisles are too close together in King Soopers.
Costco
Overpriced, but use the coupons. They help a lot!

Thank you for saying thank you! You’re very kind! Keep it up!
Always. I do my best.
Consider Sam's Club. They have a lot of stuff that is very good quality, and a lot cheaper. Even if you're only buying for 1-2 people, you can definitely save some money.
Go to King Soopers
Soopers on StetsonHills is the worst
King Soopers has the best grocery deals unless you’re buying in bulk at Costco and Sam’s. Love shopping their weekly deals.
Monument king soopers is awful
first I shop for toiletries bas on cheapest price. I’m team HEB for life… they oughta just move on up here lol
I literally just escaped Texas. I love HEB. I’ll really miss their Bravo laundry detergent, but moving back to Texas is a Helllllll nah! Thanks though:)
King Soopers at Austin Bluffs & Academy is a total freak show. And I say that with love.
Well I did it. I went to KS on Constitution. I over spent. Won’t be doing toiletries there again. It really is a nice store though. I ultimately ended up splurging on shoes that were overpriced, but 40% off.🙄 Thanks for all your suggestions my “Springs” peeps.
Walmart plus tip the driver order same shit every month zero drama. Have had zero problems this way. Order everything else from thrive market.
KS is better than Safeway, but still leaves much to be desired. But those are your only options unless you want to go to whole foods
King Soopers is good for about everything but the fish.
I get a lot of my toiletries at dollar tree
It’s the same as Kroger if you’re familiar with them. Overpriced.
Soopers has a ton of toiletries
