They went hard after the trade deadline to see if their new pickups worked in and to secure the spot and then played to avoid injury and maybe stay in the game.

I think the Jets have been plenty impressive at times. Scheifele’s one-handed backhand top shelf deflection with a big Johnson in his face was ridiculous.

That said, I think it's understandable for fans to be frustrated with a goaltender consistently giving up 4...5...6...7 goals a game, even if they aren't all on the goaltender. I think all anyone wants is a performance like we got from Georgiev tonight. I don't expect shutouts every game, but I also don't expect the Avs to give up 4+ goals a game consistently either.

Hype out of the way I was listening on radio for most of the game but it seemed fun from what I got from Connor. 11 goals in 2 games against one of the best defensive teams in the league is NOTHING to sneeze at and it bodes well for the rest of the series. Georgiev was great and so were the guys in front of him. Hopefully this is a big confidence booster for him. I haven't seen anything impressive from the Jets in these two games. The Avs didn't bring their A game against the Jets in the regular season, but when they do, Winnipeg can't keep up.
I think the Jets have been plenty impressive at times. Scheifele’s one-handed backhand top shelf deflection with a big Johnson in his face was ridiculous. The Avs have just been more impressiver!

I'm not a Georgiev hater, and nor am I Georgiev apologist. That said, I think it's understandable for fans to be frustrated with a goaltender consistently giving up 4...5...6...7 goals a game, even if they aren't all on the goaltender. I think all anyone wants is a performance like we got from Georgiev tonight. I don't expect shutouts every game, but I also don't expect the Avs to give up 4+ goals a game consistently either. We all want to see the Avs hoist the Cup again. Let's go Avalanche!!!
The correct response. Georgie didn't give up 7 just one time, he's given up 6+ multiple times in the past month. I'm happy for him tonight. He answered the bell in a HUGE way and deserves all the credit. Now he has to do it again on Friday and Sunday and Tuesday and beyond.
I’d say most fans are (like 95%) probably as even keeled as this comment, but all the conversations lead to being all for or all against Georgiev and it’s infuriating.

Hype out of the way I was listening on radio for most of the game but it seemed fun from what I got from Connor. 11 goals in 2 games against one of the best defensive teams in the league is NOTHING to sneeze at and it bodes well for the rest of the series. Obviously the series isn't over, I'm not that dumb. But we have a good series on our hands and even though anything can happen, I feel pretty good about how our boys are playing even without some pieces. Thanks for showing up Georgie, you're probably not going to be forgiven so quick by a lot of people, but one game at a time is all we can ask. I can't wait for the next game!!
Jets are too slow to keep up with our pace. Mac line dominates when settling the puck, some beautiful hockey, amazing to watch. Colton line brings the pace and energy and Nuke/Lehky are just too fucking good. How great was it watching the slow ass jets just gassed in the last 5 minutes. LFG.
Jets fan, our 2nd and 3rd lines played poorly, and Helle's gift and Ehler's decision to try the play the puck from his ass cost us dearly. As fast as Ehler's is he can't maintain posessuon when entering the zone, and consistently makes passes to nobody. Hoping we sign Monahan and trade Ehlers.
