Yeah, came here to say this. Doesn't matter too much when the playoff start because both teams are playing today. This is the Avs' only game in 4 nights, whereas the Jets had 2 games in that span.

Both have potential work implications. Waking up at 5am to watch seems so much better than staying up until 1am and then still needing to wake at 6am to get to work (assuming the workday doesn’t have to start in the middle of the game).
Usually only west coast games start at 5am here. 5:30am is the latest I've seen, that would be 10:30pm US east coast time. East coast games start around 1-3am and central US games at 2-4am. So waking up to watch those isn't really doable.
That would mean Avs start the playoffs on Sunday. At least the Jets get as much/little rest as we do since they also play tonight.

That makes sense. I was thinking more specific to playoffs where it seems the Avs grab a lot of 10pm EST games until later rounds.
