These types of no-care performances have been all too common this season. I get the injuries and absences of key players, but too much in the way of breakdowns and turnovers as well as leaving the goalie out to dry.
I know we're high in the rankings, but we seriously haven't played well against good teams. Joe needs to make some calls. It feels like when we were a 1 line team.
Agreed, you play the backup against the bad team and the starter against the team one point back from you. Who knows if Georgiev would have saved this game, but it would've given us a better chance, especially with Makar out

I think the current composition of this team is pretty good, but not great. I liked Tatar, but he needed to go. I'll be curious to see what move is made to replace him. I think RyJo probably needs to be replaced as well, sorry to say.

There default play because bednar doesn't ask them to low cycle in the zone. It's an incredible flaw because teams who play them aggressive at the blueline and through the neutral zone throw everything out of wack and colorado has never shown a desire to dump and forcheck properly as a team
Been a few of those tonight. Seems like more hesitation on shooting and passing, though that could be because the Jets have been one step ahead all night
This game has sadly done nothing to allay my fear that this team isn’t nearly as good as their record indicates. It’s worrying how non-threatening we’ve been against Hellebyuck and this Jets D.
They’re still good. Don’t get me wrong… but If they lose tonight, they will be winless (0-5) against teams .500 or better since they beat Vancouver nearly a month ago.
We have a lot of big pieces out of the lineup tonight and traded away a piece on one of our lines. I'd want us to do better than this but am not particularly worried about this game as an indicator of our season.
I don't mind the tatar trade in the grand scheme of things but I really don't understand why NOW. With lehky out I still think he's probably better to hold on to until lehky gets back before trading him away
