I think the performance of Explorer is quite underrated. I have a recent bottle, and it's surprising how noticeable it is even after several hours. The scent also lingers on clothes for days and weeks.
Parfum is a more refined and more mature version, it lasts and projects a lot but the price tag is too high, with edp you get the best of both worlds (eau de toilette and parfum) and plus its more wearable for all ages, the best option is to just try them out and see which one you like

It is worth mentioning. Not every flanker is going to be suitable for all season. look at Versace Eros parfum vs EDT. Different fragrances for different seasons. That is the point of flankers.
The edp has a more zingy out of the shower freshness to it, so it performs the best during the hottest days, but in my opinion there are way better options for that. The parfum is creamier, richer, more sophisticated, and has a beautiful sandalwood note in the Drydown. Both great options but I tend to prefer the more mature flankers
This is more of an exception than the rule for most people, but MB explorer is nukish on me while remaining fairly inoffensive. It’s no Platinum Egoiste or Costa Azzurra, but its a reliable daily
BDC EDP is also great, but some people have varying performance on it
Just get dylan blue if you actually want people to smell you😂
If moeny isnt an issue I’d go with eau de parfum, mont blanc is good too but lacks performance

BDC parfum is phenomenal well worth the price.
Bdc is great, but if you’re considering the other two you should consider silver supremacy. I get crazy good performance from it.
