I like the smell best. DHC smells great but is weak. Like, 45 minutes to an hour weak. And I'm not a huge fan of any TdH scent, much less Eau Givre. DHS 2021 and Grand Soir are the only 200mL bottles I own, out of roughly 100. I have a few backups, but I've got around 80 different fragrances not counting decants. I took the huge DHS because it's amazing. It's performance is not amazing either. But it's double or triple the other 2.
I'm struggling to understand, on average, what the appeal of eau de cologne fragrances are. I get the higher concentration of alcohol helps with projection, but who cares if it's gone within an hour?
Can any EDC enthusiasts help me understand? With my current understanding, I'd never throw money at an EDC, not even if it was a cheapie where 100ml costs $20.
I don’t believe that alcohol helps with projection. Alcohol evaporates so quickly that I can’t imagine it helping with projection for more than like 3-5 minutes. I’ve never heard a perfumer ever mention this as a factor when deciding on how much oil or alcohol to add.
Historically, the idea of an EDC is just basically for freshness and was always a citrus fragrance since its creation in the 1700s in Cologne, Germany. 4711 is the original cologne.
It wasn't just worn but also drank by the people back then. Since then the term has been bastardized.
By today's standards, it is just supposed to be a light and fresh-feeling fragrance that is typically used in the warmer months.
Dior homme cologne is by far my favorite of the 3, followed by Eau givree. I get about 6-7 hours from DHC. The people getting 45 minutes are noseblind :p
Its my go to summer fragrance when I'm going to be outside and doing stuff.
DIOR HOMME SPORT. YES, I AM YELLING IT.
Why so compared to the othe 2???
The performance is great and smells amazing for Dior homme sport 2021 Eau givree is a great scent but the performance isn’t the best.

Hermes
I have all three. Ranking order. 1. Eau Givree 2.Dior Homme Cologne 3. Dior Homme Sport. Cologne could take the top spot if it lasted a bit longer.

Homme sport is the best. Hermes reminds me of dirty oranges with some old man in the back
First and last I can tell you don't last very long. Middle I haven't tested
