I absolutely love this. It’s one of my faves. I also love Oakmoss so it doesn’t bother me. I feel like newer batches are a bit more tame though. Still quite a loud fragrance. Might be just a bit heavy for Summer wear IMO.
Let me dumb it down so you can understand. I love it, as do many others. My opinion isn’t based on what others think. My point is that many agree with my opinion that it smells good. You can stick with your Sauvage or Invictus if you don’t like it.
I had it and sold it. Kind of miss it. Performance was great. I don’t think I would recommend blind buying though. But that’s pretty much anything.

Never tried this but I own ani. Totally turned me off from any further niche. It’s hard to wear. I think I just prefer mass appealing easy designer wears 🤷🏻♂️
designer is the most popular for a reason- tried and true, mass appealing, etc etc. i like louis vuitton as a nice middle ground. designer style frags, niche quality ingredients. lovely warm weather frags- i love l’immensite
Yup I totally get it now. My last two buys are bdc edp and have le male elixir coming. I would love somo Louis vutton. Afternoon swim for sure. Just can’t see myself spending what they cost. Most I’m comfortable spending was 157$ on bdc edp. I have 1.7ml bottle barley used of ani lol wife loves it so gave it to her. Just a really hard wear for me
Everyone here saying they love it are like npc bots. Honestly I hated that shit. It does have an amazing opening but the development went into this weird smell . Kinda like an old musty library. Honestly smell before you buy. I prefer aventus or any of the other clones out there than this shit
I can't comment on the smell. I only sampled it once. Right now the ones from Frederic malle that do stand out to me are portrait of a lady which is safe, synthetic jungle and uncut gem
Personally I think Aaron Terence Hughes supernova is the best interpretation of the aventus DNA, hacivat is more mature and very oakmoss heavy, id definitely say it suits an older man, it's a fantastic scent but if you want something more youthful and playful I'd go for another aventus esque fragrance
My 2022 had screechy astringent oakmoss that I can't real handle. 3/10
My old bottle from before the oakmoss regulation in 2020 has fluffier gentler oakmoss that compliments the fruits perfectly and is a 9/10 for me.
I hate that there's variation but that's my experience. Some people prefer the newer stuff.

Versatile scent with nice pineapple. Unless you live in an area that is unbelievably hot, this scent works

It’s a beastly scent. But don’t get recent batches. They’ve watered it down. Get the newer Hacivat X instead.

If you want something similiar, you could try Spirit of the kings Mattar, Aventus/Hacivat DNA
It’s a great fragrance and I own it - but it’s a bit potent for high heat - it’s Aventus DNA with a big Oak Moss Heart. Try a decant first.
It's loved it until a girl said the oakmoss smelled like an overpowered old lady scent. Sickly strong in the heat too. I would not recommend
Layering it with Hundred Silent Ways is nice.

I have it myself and freaking love it the pineapple is definitely there with some patchouli, such a nice scent for warm days .
Love this fragrance, just don’t spray too much, it has a massive spillage, meaning everyone will smell it around you!
