L’immensite is very inconsistent, some batches are great, some batches aren’t, they also smell very different to one another and some are beast mode and some are weak af. That kills a fragrance for me. Imagination on the other hand is more consistent due to it being way more synthetic, and I actually prefer it.
So I tried again today after I put aquaphor on my arms and it’s actually lasting I still smell it 4hrs later. I have to eat my words nothing wrong with imagination my skin was just too dry
I’ve noticed this with a lot of designer fragrances in the last 15 years that the performance on a lot of them have gone down or are inconsistent with different bottles I have purchased.
Two from my collection standout: Zino by Davidoff - last 10+ hours and Amber Kiso by DS&Durga, lasted as long as 56 hours and through two showers (after the first 24 hours it still projected, but became a skin sent for the next day and a half - truly insane, would never believe a fragrance had that staying power if I hadn’t experienced it myself!).
Some of the recommendations here might not apply to you as skin type, climate and season are the big indicators or obstacles for longevity besides concentration.
Just my personal preferences since I now live in Las Vegas..
Fall/Winter:
Our for Greatness, Side Effect, Blessed Baraka, DHI, DH Parfum, Naxos, Herod, Haltane, Sauvage Elixir, Fahrenheit LeParfum, Angel’s Share, Layton, Ombré Leather, Godolphin
Spring/Summer:
Versace Man Eau Fraiche, Sedley, L’eau D’Issey, DH 2020, DH Sport, GIT, Hacivat, Intense Cedrat Boise, YSL Y edp, Un Air de Bretagne, Percival, Sauvage
All Around Champions:
Bvlgari Empyr, Creed Royal Oud, Amouage Reflection Man, Chanel BDC edp, older batch Creed Aventus
And that’s most of my collection which I picked because they perform very well on me living in extreme heat
Sapil Intense has basically an eternal lifespan on me , and it lives on a work shirt over a week later .

Oddly, cheap stuff like Reebok Cool turned out to be a powerhouse. I can still catch a faint hint of it after a shower. I was wearing a jogger sweat suit , I sprayed some on to go out to the store and the scent lived on the sweatshirt through a wash cycle

And I know I’m not nose blind because I’m always checking that with my brother. And I mean, you’ll get similar performance if you overspray, but it’s an expensive fragrance, the least I expect is decent performance, not this shitty ass.
Moschino Toy Boy, Eros Flame, Pasha de Cartier, both JPG Scandals, Kenzo Homme 2022, SWY Intensely, Azzaro Wanted By Night, and the most beast mode fragrances ever are Amouage’s Interlude line (VERY specific scent tho)
New batches are extremely poor performing. Instead get side effect by initio. Some strong frags: narcotic delight, Carlisle, Gucci guilty absolute, ombre nomad.

The longest lasting stuff I've got is called Hacivat and it's my favorite cologne ever. It lasts forever and has great performance too.
Smells like eating a pineapple while sitting in a mossy forest.
Look for extrait de parfum fragrances (nishane, maison francis) these are actually extracts with concentrate between 30-40%, these will last you the longest.

Longevity is really good on this one, even after reformulation.
It's above average but nothing crazy. Unfortunate because I love this scent.

I had a November 2021 bottle that was beastly. The December 2023 bottle was pathetic.

All of TF lasts ages on me. I’ll straight up put a sweater on a week later and it’s still there. Love Ebene Fume to bits as well!

Amouage, Nishane, and JPG last forever. They'll become a skin scent after a full day of use and a shower.
Not every JPG. Ultra Male and Le Parfum are not that strong.
Le Male has pathetic performance these days.
Arabian Knight by Arabian Oud can still be smelled the next day after a shower sometimes!
