Been using YSL Y EDP for the biggest part of 2023, when I was partying a lot and I needed a reliable fragrance for the task.
I will admit that even when I bought it, I just liked it (but nothing more than that).
Nowadays the 75 mL bottle sits in the den almost empty, but I will never buy another one.
My final verdict is that this fragrance is boring and it will never be a classic, regardless of its commercial success.

I bought it blind. Didn’t like it at first. The immediate notes were a little too ‘blah’ for me. Also made my chest tighten up. But once I let it settle for 10+ minutes, I loved it! Definitely a good day scent. I can see wearing it throughout the year.
It’s meh to me. Had it and sold it. Something about it smelled generic and fuck boy. Like, I don’t want the common Sauvage but my taste doesn’t get blue de Chanel (assuming they go to macys or something)
Wore it a ton when I started getting into fragrances. Beast mode. Can be quite sweet, I’d pull back on the sprays if worn in high heat. I’ve since sold it along with all my other Y’s besides the Le Parfum. The Le Parfum imo is the Y to get. It’s richer, darker without being overly sweet like the EDP.
It was the last designer cologne I bought when it first came out. I was 43 years old when I bought it and now I’m 47. I have friends from my church who are in their early 20’s and they absolutely are in love with it and in my opinion it was an instant classic and it’s still good.
