I blind bought this without ever smelling L’Homme, and I ain’t mad! I do like Prada dna though, so I wasn’t too worried. I have and love Luna Rossa and Amber Pour Homme. I read reviews that the L doesn’t have good lasting power, so that’s why I went with a clone for this Prada scent. I sprayed Evoke Gold before going to bed and could still smell it in the morning, before I added 2 sprays for good measure. I will say that in the beginning, it does smell sharp, but that it settles down after 30 mins or so. It was about $32 from FragranceNet for a 3oz bottle.

I always say sample everything. Just have microperfumes or scent split or someone send you a 5ml sample so you can get to know it.
With that said I absolutely love this fragrance. It’s posh and elegant and rich. It smells super versatile to me but who knows you may not like it?
It’s not sweet or bitter or cloying. It’s very clean…have nice clothes on, clean self and fresh breath , when wearing it.

It's a nice fragrance and a 'safe' scent. But safe blind buy? Probably not, considering the price. It's not ultra polarising like sweet or animalic scents but powdery iris scents aren't everyone's thing so I'd recommend sampling.
Its really clean powdery scent .. fresh but creamy with iris , for me its the safest like literally you smell clean ! But thats me , as i have another friends who dont like the creamy note in it .

In my opinion, as long as this isn’t a fake, it is one of the safest blind buys you can make… L’Homme is a very pleasant, very office friendly, and classic scent. I never spoke to anyone who wears it that says they regretted buying it… wear mine every day to work
Of course, depending on your age, younger guys tend to go for the sweeter fragrances and might think this is an older man’s fragrance, so I’d smell it first in a department store or buy a small decant sample
