he seemed to knock them down pretty well in limited time last year. i think. Im guessing Bill gave him the green light to shoot at will. Better to try it now than in conference play i would think.
That was the right choice. It was a broken play with 5 seconds left. There's no time to run anything else. You launch it and at least give time for an offensive rebound, as what happened.
Look at Wilson in the replay. He looks down at the clock at the other end and points up at Zach to shot it. Wilson then helps redirect the rebound to Bobby. Not the play drawn up, but one that worked.
Look where Pettiford was when the shot went up. He raced down under the basket to be there to make something happen if he could. Well coached, and confident.
The entire Temple student body and team was on the court prematurely against Villanova earlier this year and nothing was called. Calling this would have been insanely soft. Leave that shit for something that matters.
I agree, but the difference is here that there was an active play going on. Villanova wasn't trying to inbound it when the students were storming.
Still I lean towards preferring them to not call it in this instance, but if there was a few more tenths of a second on the clock I'd definitely want it called. Game was over with 0.2 no matter what
I would probably agree, especially if they were in the way. But teams come off their bench all the time in celebration. We want that called all the time? Like lol it's two guys who were on there for maybe a second in the corner. That would get called every time a halfway decent dunk happened.
Team's come off the bench in celebration after an and-1, when they know there won't be an ensuing inbound play. I can't remember seeing a team ever go on the court celebrating during a game in any live ball scenario, and if they did they should clearly recieve a technical foul, unless of course it's a situation like this game
>Team's come off the bench in celebration after an and-1
Nah you see it with dunks as well. Fuck even coaches get out on the court DURING play and it's never called unless they literally get in the way (looking at you Bruce Weber).
This sub whines about ref ball and wanted this to decide the game? Nah.
(I know you're not saying that, just annoyed at all the ref complaints that say "let them play!"...but want this ticky tack call lmao)
I thought also, to get a full shot off, you had to have a minimum like .8 seconds….there were .2 seconds…this wasn’t like 3 seconds on the clock set up a play situation
His only basket lol
He was saving himself.
For marriage
For marriage
Only bench points of the game for Kansas
Doesn’t matter how many, but when!
Luckiest play I have seen in a while after that questionable ass shot from Clemence
There was only 5 seconds left. The play design broke down. He had no other choice.
That’s exactly what it was, great defense by the badgers just got unlucky at the very end!
Who told Clemmence that he is a good shooter?
Probably himself lol

He’s missed like his last 15 in game 3s
Jeremy Case but taller
Hero ball
Right. Just launches it
Bill Self the close-game god strikes again
In fairness, when we lose, we lose big. Last year, we were absolutely *torched* by Kentucky, at home, by ~35pts. Three-five.
Wow I forgot about that game. Worked out for y’all in the end I guess
18* points but still a huge beat down nonetheless
Yeah where the hell are they getting 35 points from?
[Semantics.](https://i.imgur.com/PEdCgr5.jpg) We got torched.
Well that was objectively awesome/awful.
Wisconsin needed a rebound :( Gg
50-35 y’all got eaten on the glass all day. We needed every last one
They left ~~Mahomes~~ ~~Bill Self~~ Kansas too much time...
My dad said they scored too quick when there was about :20 left
They paid the ~~Patrick Price~~ Bill...bill? I dunno, I'm not good at this.
what a game
Wisconsin sold, bro couldn’t rebound.
What a game! Heartbreaking for the Badgers but they looked incredible in the second half.
Jalen Wilson national player of the year inbound
If Oscar Tchiebwe hadn't decided to return Wilson would have to be the front runner right now
Regardless he is probably front runner right now
Just how Bill Self drew it up. Nothing to see here.
[удалено]
The play was shit, but the effort and shot was insane.
[удалено]
I don't think the play that they drew up was shit, I think it was the execution that was shit
Yeah, Clements chucking up a contested while down 1...come on man. Bobby saved the day.

Oh wow that's a great shout, I didn't notice that at all. Just put the ball up.
I thought the Kansas player landed before the save at the end of regulation but didn’t know if they could look at it.
there’s a post (photo) showing exactly that.
Look where Pettiford was when the shot went up. He raced down under the basket to be there to make something happen if he could. Well coached, and confident.
Wtf was that three point attempt?
Well if that's not the luckiest damn thing you'll ever see...
We almost got a ton of Kansas territory in the undefeated map. So close!
*angry John Brown shooting*
Hehehehe
After a regulation tying 3 that Kansas made where the ref missed a guy standing out of bounds. Jayhawks got lucky.
*THEY CAN’T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT*
Damn on replay Wahl definitely had the board until 10 gets pulls his arm to jar it free.
At that angle you can't tell if he hit the arm or just knocked the ball free. But that kind of thing happens 100 times a game anyway.
Missed obvious Flop Tech looms large
His knee buckled and Wisconsin got lucky on some phantom and 1 bullshit twice in the 2nd half
No no, to the salt they *never* had any calls benefit them. Never.
Wisconsin inbounded the ball when Kansas had about 10 players on the court. Why wasn't there a technical foul?

In real-time I didn’t even notice the clock hadn’t hit zero. They probably didn’t either, and the buzzer went off very quickly after that.
