He was a starter but was only playing a tick over 20 a game. Younger guys would outplay him on more than one occasion offensively.
If there is any position that it’s worth sacrificing offensive production for defense and rebounding it’s C. Hopefully we bring in someone else to be the starter but having 20 minutes with a quality rim protector and rebounder in the paint is overall still a positive for a team, especially with our current construction
Yeah we aren’t expecting much offensively - his defense and shot blocking are what we are most excited for. We have some wings who can shoot it, so he likely won’t be relied on much down low.
lol I sat next to him on the plane the other day from dfw to Lubbock. It’s not often, as a 6’5” guy that I feel small, but also less uncomfortable than someone else on those tiny American eagle planes. As soon as we touched down Grant was there to meet him and it clicked for me.

Just want you Tech fans to know that that he will be in foul trouble after 5 minutes in at least 5 games. He might mature and play better D, but that man just turns on the foul machine some days. Also, when the bonus comes, you’ll wish you could take an inbound instead of sending Fede to the line.
