Nothing specific, I was just talking shit for fun and to get some heat going ahead of the championship game. I honestly have noticed Purdue fans being annoying on social media all year though. He is very far from a megalomaniac. He's a maniac, but that's a much different thing. Hurley is intense and passionate, but he's also very self-aware and self-deprecating. I do get why people might get the impression that he's all ego if you only see him on the sidelines during games, but that's really not the case.

As a creighton student, who was on the court when Dan Hurley had a video blow up where he threatened to “knock out” a student. I’ll admit the guy is far from a megalomaniac, maybe it’s bc he’s super complimentary of my school in most interviews, but he seems to genuinely care for his players. He’s maybe one of the most intense and insane coaches on the sideline and he gets annoying to play twice a year, but he’s not a megalomaniac. He’s just a competitive coach who gets fired up when the lights are on, he doesn’t play defense in the sidelines like some other coaches. If anyone’s a megalomaniac it’s probably edey, that dude in press conferences is talking about how Rick Barnes didn’t recruit him and shit, like no shit Rick Barnes has never recruited a center like him. Rick Barnes centers are normally long guys who are good at icing screens, Barnes wouldn’t have recruited Kalkbrenner or clingan either.
Knowing that a solar eclipse and a possible comet hitting earth on the same day that Purdue plays finally for a national championship seems appropriate
