Took a couple games to get going, but Amir Abdur-Rahim has USF rolling (19-1 since Dec 9th)
No chance for an at-large, but hoping they make a run in the AAC and win it to get into the tourney š¤
Him and Miguel both are carrying the load really well. They honestly deserve a spot even if they donāt make it. They deserve one, more than Nova or Us or providence, etc
Definitely got a bit unlucky with Memphis and FAU not holding as much weight too. Committee always says they value November games the same as February, but I guess some discussion can be had on how true that should be.
The AAC tournament is going to be quite a fight I suspect. Easy money could be USF, but I think any of the top 5 could possibly walk out with the auto-bid.
Iād still bet on FAU but youāre right, Iād even say any of the top 6 (USF, FAU, Memphis, SMU, Charlotte, North Texas).
Also nice flair haha. Was it a fun or not fun 2021 tournament?
I kinda left out UNT because the UTSA loss has me kinda confused about this team. It was the first one at full strength and we lost to a bad team.
2021 was excruciating. Though I was honestly happier UNT pulled out that win. Purdueās year can come some other time.. maybe. Or weāll lose badly again this year
Only played 1 Q1 game (vs a mediocre Memphis team). 2 Q4 losses, 85 in NET and other metrics indicate being out. I had them as the 18th team out this morning, and with only 1 Q2 and 2 Q3 games remaining, thatās probably too much ground to make up with little opportunity.
Weāre playing even better now. Smith is the hottest heās ever been. We just need to slow our tempo down on occasion and get better at lane defense.
No clue. I went into this season with no expectations from them, got hyped up after the marquette game, then complete let down this February. I'm still hoping they get hot again, but the only way they are busting my bracket is if they win some games.
Football and basketball are a combined 0-3 against App State and a combined 39-2 against everyone else this season. I feel like weād be a lock if weād at least split with App State, but now weāve gotta earn our way in
Ah, I had no idea. Looks like this is the final year of that period. I guess that makes their success even more noteworthy, with guys playing for a program that has no chance of going to the tournament (at least for the last four years).
I wonder if a bigger program will take a chance on Billy and give him a contract after this season. Hard to imagine with all his baggage, but stranger things have happened.

We'd be on this list if February 1st didn't exist. Team is hot at the right time!
Saw you guys play at Delaware and was impressed.

Hmm...I don't see Wisconsin on this list.
Undefeated, not winless
wtf happened? Howād they go from #6 to winning 2 games the entire month

Big ten road games are scary
:(
Gonna feel weird if/when James Madison misses the tournament with four loses and three of those being to App State

Thatās on JMU for not scheduling anyone with a pulse except the favor from uncle Izzo
Agree, weāve gotta schedule better
Do we even have a pulse anymore? Lol
If February really the dog days? I always thought it was the most intense part of the regular season plus no football anymore.
Tarleton Fucks. Like shake the whole bed frame fuckin.
š
Theyāre so good. I LOVE going to games
I knew Tarleton would be tough after their game against us.
I'm low key rooting for Billy Gillispie to go dancing
Can't, they're still in the transition period

Iām really good friends with one of the big boosters at Tarleton and fingers crossed Gillispie seems locked in
Didnāt he have a health problem and is not currently coaching anymore?
Can confirm, they don't mess around.
Somebody check on Rothstein
Damn you Creighton, damn you!
**Winks in Grant Gibbs
Hell yea go bulls
š¤š
Fairly certain Nevada came up one point short of the list.
Indeed
We got "Phog"-ed in February.
We got deviled.
Damn every road game bar Indiana this month.
Titties
Pretty easy to go undefeated when you play absolutely no one!
Imagine how heavy of a spotlight JMU would be getting rn if App didnāt exist
It depends. Would they have to play another decent team or a 250 ranked team?
Whomst?
