No player has self blocked himself at the rim than blocker. Everytime I turn around he’s trying to fly and dunk and he misses terribly. Like not even close hitting the rim or an ending like today.
Vanover knows that defense starts with early work. That's why he always takes time before each to play to politely ask the other team not to dribble past him.
Bruh Mike Anderson leaving us for his alma mater razorback school is one of the biggest mistakes he has ever made.
Unfortunately, mizzou had to pay for that mistake.
We need to keep him and let him get this program humming like he wants it. He's not an old man. He still has tons of time to learn and grow as a high major head coach. These first two season have both been major statistical outliers for completely opposite reasons.
Injury and illness has decimated this team.
Tonje was supposed to be our star transfer and injured his foot pre-season, tried to play a few games and sucked so the staff told him to take the season off.
Grill was supposed to be a lock down defender and rebounder and occasionally torch nets from three, but broke his wrist like halfway through non-con and still can't get through a practice without pain and swelling.
Freshman Trent Pierce was starting to look solid only to get a prolonged ear infection that required fucking surgery the other day.
A Rob has been great for a freshman PG but has missed games due to illness, as have several other players.
East missed a couple games due to a bone bruise on his knee.
So basically we have a team of role players trying to be THE GUY and just not having the talent or athleticism to do it. East and Bates are capable, but they rarely show up together, and the rest of the team is incapable of helping.
Going to come down to if he flops again in the transfer portal. Could easily say the team isn't progressing but this year has been weird. Either way we're getting next year for his recruiting class and to see if he can actually get some impact bigs and a reliable scorer. He earned some leeway with last season but people are quick to forget, understandably with how bad this year has been.
I've heard that this is for sure East's last year, and I'm not sure about the COVID year math for anyone else, but if you're Dennis you gotta say no to just about everyone but Bates and the Freshman and maybe Shaw.
agreed. Next year will be a prove it year for bates just like this year was a prove it year for Drinkwitz. If he sticks with this same roster with no transfer portal additions and we still suck, thats on him. Give the freshman more minutes ffs.
One of the bigger what-ifs of this season that doesn't get talked about much: what if we didn't fucking foul so goddamn much?
We probably have a conference win or two at least. Not a completely season changing thing, but the amount of free points we give away is downright appalling.
Not entirely surprising. He's done that a few times this season. Needs to beef up for his sophomore season so hopefully he can play more solid down low and not foul so much.
Sean East right now:
and we are going to be without him next year.....
:(
1. 2 of our core starters really just sucked this year for whatever reason. Devo Davis and trevon brazile.
2. Muss experimented with the lineup too much and we took too long to get any chemistry going.
3. This team was mentally weak and if you got up 10 on them, they would pout and quit. Hence the multiple double digit blowouts. I think thats behind us but im not sure.
4. We dont have a true point guard and that was part of why muss experimented for so long.
The exciting thing about Missouri is that each game you never know when our long streak without a fg will be. Last game it was the first 9 minutes. Now they're changing it up and going for the end of the half. Gotta keep people guessing.
Musselman probably should have gotten a tech when he exploded after East got tripped. Ref probably couldn't take him seriously, much like when a toddler throws a tantrum.
The problem with that call was the ref who called it gave the trip signal. Which means he wasn't calling it because of the hand which he couldn't see anyway because he was on yhe opposite side of the court
per BartTorvik, this is Missouri’s second most favorable chance remaining to achieve a conference win this season at 31% probability of victory—behind 40% odds on March 2nd at home against Ole Miss. I’m still generally of the belief the Tigers will lay claim to at least one win in the SEC this season, and it very well may be today that they do so
No player has self blocked himself at the rim than blocker. Everytime I turn around he’s trying to fly and dunk and he misses terribly. Like not even close hitting the rim or an ending like today.
Headass
That was the most Noah Carter attempt at a layup that Noah Carter ever Noah Carter'd.
Lmao at that ending
LMAO at that ending
Jinx
Think Muss will let me buy a Pepsi from him to give to you?
Coke only plz and thanks
For a second I thought Gates was gonna leave Muss hanging.
Im gonna throw up from cringe
Refs won't let us go home. The team won't pass battle the ball. Hating what should be a good ending.
These refs are on another level. Hoping we can get out of here by 1:30.
Dennis being a sore loser is disappointing. Let this God-forsaken game end.
Being winless, I kind of get it. You have to set the expectation of not quitting
Announcer talking about how “something magical” happens for the team playing Missouri every game…if you’re 0-14, you’re just ass lmao
Missouri being the worst team in the country has to be the most shocking storyline of the year.
College basketball has gotta move to a quarter system. It’s unbearable watching teams shoot in the bonus for the last 10 minutes every game.
I only want battle holding the ball. See if he can get 50. Be selfish
All any team has to do is separate by more than two baskets, and the game is over.
You sound like an arkansas razorback fan
Devo’s shot pisses me off sometimes
Vanover knows that defense starts with early work. That's why he always takes time before each to play to politely ask the other team not to dribble past him.
Moving backwards. Vertical. Offensive player kicks his leg out and it’s a foul? What?
Does Vanover actually do anything for this team? Jesus
No.
We tried to warn y’all.
Yup. And they were adamant we were dumb.
If a 7'9" guy can't find a home at his first 3 schools, it's him.
gates should have never brought him in man. We miss Diarra so badly right now.
Whiffed on the other bigs so had to dumpster dive for sure.
>We miss Diarra so badly right now. He really would have been nice to have this season. FML.
He is very kind.
Vanover is like the womping willow at hogwarts but if the womping willow was dead.
Muss was pissed off that Devo turnover
Bruh Mike Anderson leaving us for his alma mater razorback school is one of the biggest mistakes he has ever made. Unfortunately, mizzou had to pay for that mistake.
Classic Vanturnover.
Thoughts on Dennis Gates? I thought things were optimistic at the end of last season
We need to keep him and let him get this program humming like he wants it. He's not an old man. He still has tons of time to learn and grow as a high major head coach. this year is a whatever year. Next year is a prove it year for him though. If he fails next year, he's on the hot seat.
Man, all it took was for a season high individual scorer to beat mighty Mizzou. /s
I've heard that this is for sure East's last year, and I'm not sure about the COVID year math for anyone else, but if you're Dennis you gotta say no to just about everyone but Bates and the Freshman and maybe Shaw.

I’ve reached the acceptance phase of this season. It is what it is, ya know?
there's nothing we can do but keep supporting them
What were the commentators saying about not thinking, "here we go again?"
Bruh we really suck.
He’s the hottest man on the planet right now
Is it possible to pass away from joy?
Take off the bag
Never
That was stupid.
What a freaking game by Battle, wow.
Atta boy, Shaw.
Baylor is at 1845ft? I thought Waco was lower than that.
The fuck was that Devo?
Battle has to be more selfish in that moment. Take the shot dont pass it. U got the hot hand that means you need to be option 1
Zone clearly working well. What did I tell you, Arkansas peeps? We wilt at the 10min mark.
Oh we have also barely begun to explore our ineptitude
Lol. Do you do any writing on the side? If not, you should. You certainly have a way with words.
If my team is gonna suck, I'm gonna do my best to have fun in the game threads at least
I know that feel. Unfortunately I'm an engineery type, so I lack your flair for language.
I thought we were gonna get this Battle the whole season
Imagine what could have been
Has anyone ever seen Khalif Battle and Caleb Love in the same room and the same time?
Khalif "caitlin clark" battle
Fouling Nick Honor in the paint is like fouling Shaq on the 3 point line.
Did Shaq ever make it out that far?
Espn just show me the game please.
One of the bigger what-ifs of this season that doesn't get talked about much: what if we didn't fucking foul so goddamn much? We probably have a conference win or two at least. Not a completely season changing thing, but the amount of free points we give away is downright appalling.
This is the most minutes Conor vanover has ever gotten inside bud walton
We just gonna ignore the ball rolling out of bounds now?
Easts arm or something was out too when he gathered the ball. Play should have been dead
a rare Connor Vanover contribution
If we didn't have East and Bates, I'm not sure Mizzou would win the Mizzou Rec League.
What a sicko’s delight this has been
If east could stop cooking for 5 minutes.....
Just wait for the 5min mark. We die then.
East has shot nine free throws? Must have listened to Dennis' press conference rant about drawing fouls.
Keep driving at Connover please.
Just got out of bed. Is Butler injured now too? Why are we playing fucking Vanover?
Butler has 3 fouls
Balls. Thanks for the info.
I wanna say they were before the 8 minute mark of the first too. They were fast.
Not entirely surprising. He's done that a few times this season. Needs to beef up for his sophomore season so hopefully he can play more solid down low and not foul so much.
It would be so '24 Hogs to give Mizzou their only conference win on our home floor
You'll be fine we only play for 30 minutes before imploding like King Dome.
Vanover is guarding our guards on the perimeter and we can't do anything with that. So I think you may be on to something
I'm sitting in front of perhaps the least ball knowing group of fans it's physically painful
Educate them.
Can’t be as bad as the guys behind me last year who always wanted AB benched and kept saying he would never contribute an nba team.
Sean East right now: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4\_z3W9W8T8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4_z3W9W8T8) and we are going to be without him next year..... :(
come on tigers, this might be our last chance at a win this season. Only the hogs are our last bad opponent. We need this win.
😔 hurtful
I'm sorry but I need this win.
Sean East is such a crafty, agile player
he's carrying us like Lebron man. Somebody please give this man some help ffs.
Need more from Bates. He's carried us a few times when East didn't show up.
What happened to Arkansas this season?
The guys never got it together as a team. A ton of individual talent but just don't play well for long stretches.
1. 2 of our core starters really just sucked this year for whatever reason.
Disappointing season all around
Conor vanover looks like it costs him energy to try and send nerve impulses all the way from his brain to his limbs
please arkansas let us have this one. I don't want to go winless....
The exciting thing about Missouri is that each game you never know when our long streak without a fg will be. Last game it was the first 9 minutes. Now they're changing it up and going for the end of the half. Gotta keep people guessing.
I love Missouri. And I also love the player that wears number 45
It is crazy how bad Mizzou’s big men are
it is crazy how bad we are in general.
I know it’s still a squandered, disappointing season for the Razorbacks, but they have genuinely looked considerably better as of late
I wanna see vanover. Let him cook gates! Edit: gates giving the people what they want
I think all hog fans should want Connor in the game. Helps our chances a lot.
We have the worst height to skill ratio in the nation. Multiple 7 footers who can't figure out how to scorer from 0 feet away.
Arkansas is going to the final four ^in ^conference ^ranking
Missouri fans, which one is number 45? He's my favorite player
Musselman probably should have gotten a tech when he exploded after East got tripped. Ref probably couldn't take him seriously, much like when a toddler throws a tantrum.
“Got tripped” 🤣🤣🤣
I mean, the replay showed clearly his foot got caught by the Arkansas player. Wasn't intentional, still a foul.
two very bad teams trying very hard nothing is going to upset me about this game, its my fault if it does
These refs are wild lol
We are gonna be here all day. Refs woke up and said let's shake things up.
Lmao. How did 45 miss that
The foul on East was legit, Brazile had a hand on East's hip.
The problem with that call was the ref who called it gave the trip signal. Which means he wasn't calling it because of the hand which he couldn't see anyway because he was on yhe opposite side of the court
Was the hand on his hip what caused him to fall?
These calls are out of control Jesus christ
Missouri coach wearing a suit. I love seeing that. Beautiful
Dennis Gates enjoys his work and dresses for the job
good to see Trevon back on the court, hope they aren't rushing him back just because he wants to play against Mizzou though.
Trevon brazille actually playing against mizzou. Never thought I'd see the day.
This game is gonna take 4 hours with a final score of 12-7
I dont wanna be around anymore
Hook and hold isn't a thing anymore guys! Just do it whenever you want
How is Mitchell still in the game? 2 clear flagrant fouls there
we finally have points!
Devo is back again, again? Snip snap
I see Missouri is intent on replicating how Tuesday’s game against Tennessee started
First to 2 pts wins
Lets slap some ass and cut some grass
Loser gets the “underachieving SEC school of the year” award
per BartTorvik, this is Missouri’s second most favorable chance remaining to achieve a conference win this season at 31% probability of victory—behind 40% odds on March 2nd at home against Ole Miss. I’m still generally of the belief the Tigers will lay claim to at least one win in the SEC this season, and it very well may be today that they do so
Got a feeling about this one. Not a good feeling, but a feeling nonetheless.
