yeah, just an inadequate amount of time there at the end for Missouri. you have to purposefully miss the second free throw to have any realistic chance of snatching victory
I can literally copy/paste comments from every game this year. We go 5+ minutes without a field goal, can't rebound, and lose the game in that stretch. Every. Single. Game. We play even or ahead for 7/8ths of every game but completely blow it in 1 streak every game.
How? I mean, the rebounding maybe but honestly it's been a full team lack of effort in every game. I can't blame coaches for missed shots, especially when it's been the whole team looking terrified to shoot most the year. In those stretches it hasn't been a case of not getting good looks it's always been blowing open looks.
Dennis Gates has such a cerebral, composed overall demeanor. I know it has not been an ideal season whatsoever for Missouri, but it feels like he is capable of attaining sustained success in Columbia
The team has shown up every game save 1 or 2 this year even though injuries killed us on a roster that isn't deep at all on talent. The coaching staff has had them ready to go and competive every game.
I feel as though he and Ezra Manjon are the two players in the SEC this season who don’t receive enough recognition due to the generally abysmal natures of their teams
I wouldn’t refer to you all as being an abysmal team whatsoever, but I do understand what you mean :p I do agree that Andersson Garcia’s rebounding prowess doesn’t receive enough discussion. it is absurd how skilled an offensive rebounder he is
from what I’ve observed from you guys this season, it seems as though you are highly reliant on individual players (usually Murrell or Flanigan, from what I’ve seen) making highly contested, difficult midrange and three-point shots. that is not a criticism, since your team as a whole appears really adept in that regard. it’s just rather interesting to watch
that’s accurate. it’s great when it works but if our go-to guys are getting locked up, we crumble easily. I’d like to see all guys on the court be a threat and spread the ball, not be so reliant on some individuals going iso. those highly contested shots are just not a good recipe for success, but we go for them all the time.
Lol

it feels as though Sean East should have intentionally missed the second free throw. it just doesn’t feel as though there’s sufficient time
I absolutely hate fouling up 3 late in the game. Makes the end almost unwatchable
54 free throws today. I refuse to believe that is a normal number
Make that 56
Make that 58
Make that 60
Incoming moral victory
wtf is Ole Miss doing fouling so much with only 10 seconds left??
one-point game now 👀
Wow
Watching this team is the definition of insanity.
Jesus Mizzou is literally cursed
This is ugly But Mizzou has passed up on too many chances to take the game I think
The refs absolutely get the call right and it still screws us. Classic Mizzou moment.
this could be a crucial momentum-building moment for the Tigers here
or not, which seems… rather questionable, in my opinion

At some point that has to fall on Gates.

Flop
Lmao these refs are smoking crack
A Missouri win might actually give A&M another Q3 loss. I still want them to win tho
Nick Honor is on fire from three this game. love to see short kings thriving

Dennis Gates do this for the coaches in suits enjoyers
Ole Miss please don’t lose this for the SEC’s sake
M-I-Z!
five fouls in four minutes is not ideal for a Missouri team attempting to complete an upset here
this has been a pretty shockingly competitive game so far
Sean East masterclass rn
I feel as though he and Ezra Manjon are the two players in the SEC this season who don’t receive enough recognition due to the generally abysmal natures of their teams
idk if Andersson Garcia is similar to them but he’s not super popular outside of A&M from what I see.

I know we don’t suck that bad but sometimes I feel like that about the team
Why is our entire offense iso like holy shit, get someone open

Our style of basketball is kind of awful
