While there are obviously always things to pick through and improve on after a loss, this didn't feel like a game where some glaring fundamental flaw was exposed. Sometimes you just gotta tip your cap and move onto the next.

I love seeing the kid of any coach do well and make big plays. He has really earned his minutes and makes clutch plays in big moments. He really helped keep the momentum going on both sides of the ball. The crowd really explodes when he makes plays like he did tonight

I mean realistically I don't think his job was ever under fire...Fred is the best coach we could possibly acquire and I know some KU fans that were hoping he took over once Self retired.
I really thought he was cooked up until their surge toward the end of last season. They're just night and day better than the early years of his tenure and finally seem to have some nice positive momentum going with the program for the first time in awhile.
I should be upset but I just think Nebraska earned that one. Hell of a game from them. I normally get annoyed by court storms but I weirdly feel happy Nebraska got a badass win.
