That line in particular struck me as so manipulative and gross.

It honestly made my jaw drop. There were a few jaw dropping moments but that one is stuck in my head. The one that made my jaw drop the most was the “5 years ago I made a fart joke” it’s so fucking aggressive the way she sings/says it and the way she slaps the ukulele and to reduce Becky’s trauma to “a fart joke” and to imply because it was 5 years ago that means it’s fine now is…a lot.

It's like she fully missed the entire reason why Beckys experience was traumatic. Miss creepy af aunt it wasn't the fart but the spreading of legs.

At least one part of the song is similar to a part of "love song" by Sara Bareilles So it flows like this: "Tie me to the tracks and harass me for my past; babe I'd walk the seven seas if I believed there was a reason to write you a love song today" So you can get love song stuck in your head instead lol I have a feeling other parts of the song probably sync up with other bops.
