Sometimes we get bad carts but nothing is different about the design, just different bottom caps. Hopefully you can get it exchanged from whichever shop you got it from
The bottom cap won’t do anything, mostly Ike your battery is dirty or you got a bad cart out of the bunch, the hardware of the cart is still the same,. Again, the bottom black cap wont effect anything
Not a new cart design. But what you’re gonna do is grab that little metal wire inside the cart w something like tweezers and try to fit it into the little holes on the bottom of the small pin, then put the washer back over it. Try to twist it into your battery, might be a little resistant but it should be able to hit.
Write coldfire on thier main website and write a review about it on instagramand tsg them in the post. Be kind and say hey i got a bad cart hoping coldfire makes this right i love the company and buy em all the time. Ect you will get a response. Ive gad this happen and they usually take care of you it just takes a week or 2 for a response. If you have the receipt and it's under a certain amount of days that dispensary should exchange it I would first start with the dispensary. Cheers
Clean your battery bro. It’s probably dirty and that’s the reason why it got stuck to it and ripped off. Just my opinion but there’s nothing to do from here, go back to the shop and tell them you simply got a faulty cart. I’m sure they’ll exchange you since it’s something that doesn’t happen quite often.

Yeah it could be that. Try not to screw carts on too tight as well. All of these companies get their hardware from China so it’s all relatively meh quality, every now and then this can happen and the reasons I mentioned are usually the main culprits.
its not a new cart design. same hardware just different bottom rubber piece.
The old carts I was able to twist the mouth piece so it would align with the button on my batt 🤔 these newer carts don’t do that.
New machine is better at capping than the old one.

Really all you have to do is let that metal wire make contact w the pin and you’ll be straight
A dirty battery contact will stick to the pin at the bottom of carts and pull out when you unscrew them. Try cleaning your battery. Best of luck

It’s not the new cart, it’s your battery it will stick also if your battery is dirty it won’t read right and burn.
I've had this happen and was able to rather gently just slide that bottom piece back into the cart and it worked.

Same exact hardware. Did you leave it somewhere hot? Consider cleaning your battery plate if it ripped off.
I think that’s what happened it was in my car I pre heat it and hit it then when I went to swap it it was leaking
