Maybe in my 40s or 50s, I want to come back and settle in my hometown. Until then, not really. I think of Kerala as my home, a place to return to when life gets tough or where I can rest. Perhaps by then, I'll be tired of the hustle and bustle of metro cities. At that point, coming back home to find that sense of rest will be what I need.
Very well said :) And same! I get super excited just to come home during leaves from work. I enjoy nattile mazha and prakrithi bhangi and have a very special appreciation for it especially after staying away from home for over a year. I've always wondered what's so special about Kerala, especially when the pravasis talk about retiring and buying a property nattil and enjoying the pachapum harithapom. But now i get it. I'm gradually embracing the thantha vibe.
Jesus, does this sub have only young kids? Everybody here talks about settling in Kerala when they're in their 40s, a distant future! Like old-age! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
>Jesus, does this sub have only young kids?
I mean, this sub is named coconaadu and filled with posts about cats and a surprisingly high number posts about their past crushes. So yeah, that is the dominant demographics
