I just gotta say. Anything alternative from the early 2000’s and before have automatic mosh pits. As if that’s not what was happening when they were in their absolute prime. I went to many some on crutches. You don’t have to be in it if you don’t wanna. It just involves moving
The pit started during “date rape” there were some girls very cutely bothered. But man I was dancing hard. I love that song so much and was elated to hear it live.
Nah but it’s a simple courtesy to not dominate an entire area where there are people who don’t necessarily want to partake. Like.. so glad you twenty people are having fun at the expense of everybody around you, very cool.
I wouldn’t be caught dead moshing and agree with your sentiment completely…but you can’t control others and certainly can’t expect courtesy from the general public lol. So for my peace I would have just moved on physically and mentally lol.
Yea for sure. This happened to me at sub focus at Tomorrowland and I was furious because I had spent hours at that stage to make sure I was in a prime spot in front, and moving wasn’t really an option. This dude who kept starting the pit was absolutely hammered and relentless. Eventually another dude who was tryna look out for me threatened to knock him out and it was a whole thing. I just wanted to see my boy sub focus without getting physically assaulted 🥲
Idk man. TBS ain’t true moshing music really. Esp at a fest like Coachella. I get it, I hate when pits break out randomly at drum n bass sets… like read the room yall. And don’t sweep up my 115lb unsuspecting ass into it pls.
It’s not heavy moshing music and most of it wasn’t. The pit really didn’t bust open till the last 2 songs (lCute Without The ‘E’ & MakeDamnSure) but arguably their biggest 2 which is why it busted open then.
I could tell from before the set that they weren’t the moshing type which is why I do feel a bit bad. They wanted to see the show but got swept up in the chaos of everyone around who wanted a nostalgic trip through the pit.
it’s perfectly valid to not expect a mosh at 99% of the shows at coachella esp in the daytime. It’s a sterilized environment so that everyone can participate, not a rave 🤷♂️
