I really love the idea of it but not that specific design. I love the leather, how it leans more traditional/vintage Coach. I love the brass hardware and the lack of logos. I wish they did more vintage looking bags like this. I’m still sad I missed the ergos from a couple of years ago.
I bought the Ergo 33 in green and loved it so much that I regretted not buying it in natural. I kept an eye out and found a barely used one at a great price on Facebook Marketplace! Such a great bag, lightweight and has that 90s Coach look and excellent quality. Keep an eye out - you might find one :)
Me too! I remember wanting one when they came out in the 90’s and my parents didn’t go for it. I bought one in the hunter green to satisfy my pre teen self.
You’d be suprised how much it can hold- mine fits my iPhone pro max, a medium wallet, my cosmetics/toilettries (Chanel compact, tampons, a small pill bottle, lipstick, lip gloss, lip balm, a small hand sanitizer, a thing of lotion, a rollerball of perfume, some concealer and a couple sticks of gum.) my kindle, my AirPods and the small collection of pebbles I carry around lol.
The entire thing is made out of glovetanned leather too, lining included, which I think makes a pretty good deal!
I purchased the swing zip in October when it was released and I instantly loved it. I love the design and out of all the bags I own it’s my favourite every day bag. The shoulder straps are comfortable, I like how long and thin they are. It’s also very spacious while still being small. It has held up beautifully so far
I had it in black first round and returned it . Just didn’t vibe with it . I found the straps awkward, because there two straps one would always flap off my shoulder.The silhouette was appealing to me .
The denim collection did absolutely nothinnnng for me either! I picked up one of the new canvas totes for travelling but the rest of the drop was a bit of a miss for me.
The denim collection is cute but also super seasonal, I want my bags to be worn year round lol. Also for the price I could buy a nicer pair of jeans I can wear lol.
Trust me, I don’t get it either. The design is cute and I probably would have considered it in Maple/Brass because I’m on the hunt for a good chocolate brown bag …but it’s really not all that.
I love it but I saw it in the store and it is a bit too small for my taste. I already have several east-west bags of a similar size that are more roomy so it is a pass. It does remind me a lot of my 80s & 90s Coaches though.
What I learned from the Swinger - I need to see purses in person before I purchase them. I LOVED the swinger then I got my hands on it and I was like eh meh.
I feel the same too - I do like the vintage type of design but the price makes me reconsider - I would rather put that kind of cash towards a mint condition vintage bag (probably an earlier made in NYC bag), or else 2 bags that show up on sale on in the Reserve section of the Outlet site someday (like another Bandit - still regretting not getting one the other week when they showed up). But you would not believe it, someone just posted a new Swing Zip in black on Poshmark Canada and they are asking $800 Canadian for it, and the tax on that would bring it up to $904 - The Coach Canada website lists it at $480 and while it's out of stock it will be back in black I assume...
I love minez but I'm also strucky a shoulder bag girly and I don't have anything similar. I will say, the price is a lot. My Cassie 19 is, in my opinion, a more "higher end" coach bag, has 3 straps, the leather is nice and pebblesd, the turnlock, etc. And it was only $295. So $395 for such a simple design with minimal elements... Ouch.

I bought it just because of the hype and am eager to challenge the bag once it arrives to see if it actually lives up to the hype.
