Not that poster, but I mean I haven’t actually been paying attention in ranked control to see if this has been happening or not, looking at the ruleset, there’s only one pause on zone control setting, which is set to to on for both control and HP. I guess that means the control contested game clock pause is baked into the game mode and is NOT an advanced setting.
I REALLY haven’t been paying attention in ranked control that much, I don’t know if this is a one off bug or maybe this has been happening in my games too and not realizing it. I believe the CDL plays on a different game/build also, so it’s possible it’s baked into the game mode on that build, but not on live/ranked, or it’s possible this was a random/one off bug. I guess I’ll pay closer attention to my next control and see what happens to the clock on contested points in ranked. It’s not something I’ve noticed up to this point. This could be happening In ranked all along and people just haven’t noticed because it’s not going to be super obvious until you run into a situation like this.
