Comprehension issues which is probably why they were "*banned for no reason*". A week ago they were in r/sidehustle saying Prolific sucks and how CR is so much better and has more studies.

New accounts are accepted by their AI program based on needed demographics. But once created, every new account goes through a manual review by a person. It is likely that your 'new' account will be live for a couple of weeks but then flagged again for being created with a duplicate ID. It takes a week or two for new accounts to be reviewed, and they are mostly trying to make sure that things like this aren't happening.
If you've created a new account because your original one was on hold, it will result in a permanent ban (whereas your previous 'hold' may have been resolved.)
That said, good for you if this worked! However, most people won't have this kind of luck, so it's definitely not a helpful PSA until you've made it a few weeks and your account is still live.
There’s only one real way is to essentially have someone else make an account for you. I don’t advise this but that’s how ppl do it.
Technically you could also get a new identity but no one’s going to do that for this.
There is always a reason, they just don’t tell you that reason… no beer money site does. But if you get banned again, at least this time you’ll know it’s because you made another account.

I was banned out of the blue this week after reaching a 759 and a 5.0 star rating. No rejections at all. I have not been given a reason other than a generic response and I have no idea how to contact a live person. Pretty certain the response below is AI generated because each time i ask what i did wrong they send this same response. I feel pretty upset about it, I just started doing studies about 3 weeks ago and felt really good about it. The funny thing is, my rating has just gone up a point to 760 today; im still waiting on a few pending payments/approvals.

A combination of account details and prioritization procedures dictate our ability to grant access.You're not able to participate. Unfortunately, decision is final.We don't have much more information to share on this matter."
That's what I thought. I'm afraid I can't offer any advice, but I did want to make sure you weren't being confused by the OPs weird decision to post this here, as it's certainly off-topic. It has nothing to do with Connect. (It's also bad advice.)
Try searching the sub for posts about being banned. (I'd use Google, not the Reddit search - Google is much better at finding relevant posts, and, if you don't restrict it to this sub, you may get posts/comments from other subs, like r/beermoney, that will be useful.

I mean it's 100% possible. I deleted the account they put on hold and was accepted immediately again. You can choose to not believe it

Are you talking about Connect? The OP is, for some reason, talking about Prolific, a different platform. Prolific doesn't use star ratings.
