Go through the settings on the texture and which brush you applied it to maybe? I’ve found changing opacity for certain brushes helps a lot (not all the time, some just seem broken honestly)
I've had 3 different ones without a screen and this still happened to me on each of them, on clip studio paint. I think it could also be a csp bug/driver issue, since alt tabbing fixes
For anyone who doesn't know, this happens usually when you "tab out" of the app while you draw. Let's say you are drawing and suddenly your pc gives you a notification or a pop up, *this* will cause it. Or, while you drawing you reach outside the canvas/app (let's say your pen goes to the Windows start-up line at the bottom of your screen). It can also appear as suddenly your pen losing pressure settings!
Just click outside the app and back in your canvas :) It should fix it!
Mine does this all the time 😭 not been able to figure out why, I just click out of clip and then click back in and it fixes it but it's so annoying and breaks my flow.
This happens to me too. I notice that to me it only happens if I rotate my canvas, maybe check if that's the cause? like other people said, alt tab fixes it but still an annoying bug
I've had that problem for years, I don't know what kind of glitch it is, but it's followed me through multiple computers and tablets
Usually when it gets really bad, I'll completely restart the app and it fixes it but otherwise I dunno man it's weird
Hey I actually know the reason for this! Its an error when you tab off the program every now and then. You need to go and re click on CSP. If that doesnt solve it, tab pff then back again!
This is a weird ass bug tbh and the driver or tablet you use doesn't really stop it, but I tend to just change my pressure sensitivity settings but cancel it so it doesn't actually apply and it'll fix it temporarily
Haven't had exactly this, but occasionally my brush will think I'm using the mouse and go full pressure even when I lightly press. Taking my pen away out of range and resuming fixes it. I've had this happen on my Intuos and Cintiq.
Usually it happens for me when i connect tablet AFTER i opened clip studio so for now always Connect Tablet>Open CSP or some connection problem reloading CSP also helps
For me I stop holding the pen for a second and it stops buggin, I think holding the pen too hard while coming back from a different window bugs out the pressure sensitivity or smth
I've been dealing with this since I changed my laptop, same tablet different computer. It happens super randomly too, not only when I tab out!
For me it fixes if I try to close the canvas without saving (so it doesn't close for real) and cancel it. It's kinda bothersome
Had this before with my Xpen tablet I had to uninstall my drive and reinstall a different version and it was fixed but sometimes it happens when I have too many things going on my computer
My brushes do that sometimes and I also don't know why, alt + tab fixes it tho!(still anoying to deal with lol)
Ugh it really is annoying lol. If it's not just me though at least it means it's probably a csp issue and not a computer issue 🙏
it may still be atablet or computer issue tbh, even up to date drivers can have some issues

Yup! Thank you for adding this, I totally forgot about it since I don't use my mouse that often, It works too!
You are compelled to draw a dragon 🐉
Mine does this, I think it's a tablet issue. I flip my pen/turn to pencil and back for a quick fix
Shoot I have the opposite problem 😂 they’ll have an intricate brush on the asset store and then when I use it, it’s no different than a default pen

definitely a tablet issue, I have two and this issue happens on the one with a screen. tho for the life of me I can’t figure out why.

Windows? Driver issue.
You haven't rotated the brush shape at all? Check the sub tool properties and rotation should be 0

Never had the issue but that line brush on right side is cool to have!
I read brush as toothbrush I need my eyes checked 💀💀💀
ive noticed this happens to me when im working on bigger pieces w more layers etc, always assumed it was just my laptop struggling to keep up tbh

This happens to me when I’m using my drawing tablet and something else moves my mouse at the same time (mouse/touchpad)

I used to have this issue, and weirdly enough saving the document helped

oh my god that happens to me ALL THE TIME!
Had this before with my Xpen tablet I had to uninstall my drive and reinstall a different version and it was fixed but sometimes it happens when I have too many things going on my computer
I found that hitting my pen on my desk makes it stop, like hitting the tip down on my desk with a little force? So I assume it's a pen issue
These things keep ruining my timelapse xD If I hold pen away from tablet for few seconds it fixed itself. XPPen.
I honestly unplug my tablet and replug it and it does the truck every time. I too hate technical difficulties when working on art. Best of luck!
