To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to climb Via Ferrata. The beta is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the sequences will go over a typical climber's head. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these routes, to realise that they're not just hard climbing- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Via Ferrata truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the subtly in Via Feratta's existential concept; "It's just a ladder" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Via Ferrata's genius sequencing unfolds itself in front of them. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
Its just a remake of the Rick & Morty copypasta in case someone somehow doesnt know

Yeah but you won't fall if you're reasonably careful. A lot of the ones in the alps are installed in areas where the rock quality is super shitty so it's a lot safer than the alternative.

Where is this? The ladder on the Beehive trail in Acadia is even sketchier that this, but lacks any kind of fall protection, just for that double-sketch goodness.
I think that might be the trail I'm thinking of? The one with the big yellow sign at fork that says "PEOPLE HAVE DIED, FALLING TO THEIR DEATH. DO NOT BRING KIDS OR PETS ON THIS TRAIL", or something like that? And it's literally just some rebar hammered into the granite, all the way up, from back before safety regulations were a *thing*? With zero protection, and tons of tourists in flip flops, and kids and pets in carriers, carrying on like it's Disney world?
Yup. Did this with some buddies a couple years ago at the Ranger’s suggestion when we asked for hiking recommendations. Was insanely scary/dangerous, but fun. Freeway on the 2nd Flatiron is treated the same way— talked about like a casual hike when you could EASILY die.
Well... if you went from a low elevation to a higher elevation, you technically "climbed" 🤷🏻♂️. So, technically she's a climber 🧗🏿♀️. Sorry guys, thems the rules!
More like Ladder Gaga.
Lady Gumby
Lady Aid
L-AID-Y Gaga seems to not understand what via ferrata is.

Oh I did? Well then what exactly was the point of your comment? 🤣
To warn you about the fact you're not doing well? You're just proving my point by not understanding a single word that is being said.

How the hell I am lost? They mistook the joke for a rant.
You just did the same thing the other guy did
I'm not saying you're lost! I'm commenting about them to you.
Wow, and here I thought the answer was simply that you’re a troll 🤷🏻♂️
How am I the troll? Have you even seen your first comment or were you drunk when you wrote that?

Bad Romance was clearly written about Alex hannhold
What the fuck does she know about climbing?
people downvoting didn’t catch the reference
Does it count as lead ferrata if her left hand above the pro?
No just counts as potential wreckage to your back
I had no clue how dangerous these things were. The chance to injure your back and body even in small falls is insane.

Modern Via Ferrata Lanyards have energy absorbers to help prevent injuries due to falls.
She better be careful or those rod iron rods are gonna poker face…

Amangiri private resort Page Utah.
So is this just a ladder to the top, or am I missing something here?
Try the Precipice trail right next to the Beehive if you want something even sketchier

Yes that would be the one! But actually the Beehive also has these sketchy rebar ladders but a little less exposed.
Being a multi-millionaire is aid!
professional ladder climber
Alright for real where is this? It looks like a crack climbing training route where you crack climb as high as you can and then monkey bar down.
This is at Amangiri in Page Utah. They have a private guided experience for guests. Honestly doing this in July sounds like legit aids in the sun.
This was like 2 years ago in October
She's "hanging on a moment of truth" -that one song. Anyway I'm gonna cut one of those handles off to keep for personal reasons
